  1. Don't get upset. Someone was on telling me they'd conducted a phone survey the other day and I didn't know that these were online surveys till you educated me. Calm down calm down
  2. I assume you liked it. Pity John Logie Baird didn't get a nod too. "David you're talking to me by virtue of another great Scot". He missed a trick eh?
  3. I think you under estimate the man's self-interest which is sad. He's a politician fgs. they're all liars; they can't help themselves they claim to represent the aims and aspirations of millions of individuals. Are you a fresher or a second year?
  4. Ah Dimbleby was talking over him so I didn't hear it. Fair enough. The Adam Smith reference because it sounded a bit small minded. I can't explain it. It would be preferable to talk about the here and now rather than talking about our place in history. I took out the "great" before "place" in the above. Must stop repeating Salmond.....
  5. I just heard from a source within the SNP who i can't quote but you're probably right. Fair dues
  6. That "we invented the World" bit made me cringe a wee bit and the "land of Adam Smith" but they were both ok. I still have utter contempt for Salmond.....HTH
  7. There's an element of bias because the surveys are carried out by people who dress as red coats
  8. Ach geeus peace. It's been funny at times but now I'm hoping Friday comes round quickly
  9. Not that you're biased or anything? I thought it was a neutral and pretty dull interview. It'll be a dull climax and it's getting a bit boring
  10. Spot on. The future and what's best for us.
  11. Appreciate the relevant post. I was enjoying it until a few posts back
  12. The way people like you who are turning this into a childish us and them scenario. Instead of using the cut and paste function and insulting people think about what happens beyond Friday. Pretty sure rational people are
  13. If people have money riding on it for fun, fair play but to treat this EITHER WAY like a victory over a rival is really sad and pathetic
  14. It's looking likely thankfully. The BT campaign was quiet but rational people are.
  15. Excellent figures for the Scottish economy in the context of a supportive union which endorses the need to retain it. Thanks for this.
  16. So that's a No then.I knew I'd talk you round
  17. Have you got any sources along with your European contributions to back up a thing that you've written?
  18. No I wouldn't and Salmond seems to think that he'll get a great deal for Scotland. I don't despise my country; quite the opposite and that's why i resent him being FM. I think you'll find that most Yes voters spin this yarn about "choosing the society they want to live in". That's hinting at perfection which you won't get because negotiations which will take 2-3 years will result in uncertainty and an economic downturn. Think big but accept reality and what's best for Alba
  19. It is but I'd say it's more accurate than the one in "Kurt's" link
  20. Probably me. I wrote the code for that website earlier today with help from the BBC and Interpol who all want to undermine the Yes campaign. All lies the whole lot of it
  21. It is actually http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/events/scotland-decides/poll-tracker
