  1. Ireland are definitely not out of that group and their 4 games at home. It annoys me the way that some of the thickos on here are slagging them off when they could quite easily hammer us at the Aviva. The fact that they can beat a decent team by that kind of margin shows they have players that can do serious damage
  2. Celtic let him go for "being too small" Tall and sh**e like Charlie. That's how they like 'em
  3. I'm wondering what the journalist had on that French policeman who's now in prison. Maybe find out tonight....
  4. I watched the catch up episodes of this on Iplayer. It's brilliant and terrifying although arguably in very bad taste. However, I can't deny that it's gripping TV. James Nesbitt is actually good in this as is Tcheky Karo who is always fantastic. The plot is that a child goes missing while on a family holiday in France and in shifting timelines from 8 years into the future and back, events unfold where the parents, police and relatives try and trace the child. Now maybe it's because of various characters being incarcerated and signs of events that have taken place such as marital separation it really makes you want to keep watching but it's well written and directed. Tuesday 9 pm on BBC1 although i'd recommend watching all previous episodes on Iplayer
  5. ^^ This I think Inception is THE most overrated film ever. Films like "Twelve Monkeys" were ignored back then and then this type of average fare is elevated to "classic" status
  6. I think maybe a wee bit of prudence should be shown in thinking we're going to get third or above place and Ireland are consigned to fail. O'Neill has a habit of producing good results from nowhere, as does Strachan. Slagging off a team and manager before we're even half way through is stupid so I'll wait and see if we can do it
  7. Best revenge picture I've seen. Retribution corrupts and destroys especially when he wanted his friend to burn the photo he had of them together. He wanted to erase himself from existence. It was tragic but brilliant
  8. ^^ Aberdeen Bud is a troll who offers nothing and is mostly ignored on this forum
  9. I'm bored with this forum. It's time i wasn't here
  10. If you're not going to contribute to the thread then maybe you should consider refraining from posting...preferably indefinitely
  11. I used to love Doctor Who as a children's TV show and now it's degenerated into a childish idiot fest for adults. That ratty faced actress from "The Acid House" really chewed the scenery and some of the script was atrocious. The sentimental parting of two of the protagonists had a touching quality that was out of touch for what's meant to me sci-fi fun. Clearly some humanists have taken over writing and it lacks the original's apolitical fantastic (as in Fantasy) charm. They've ruined the show which is a shame because Peter Capaldi is very good in the title role.
  12. Granny considers it "worrying" that anyone would have a contrary opinion to him. That's frightening.....
  13. We already are and there doesn't seem to be any desire to change it. I think UKIP are a one policy party so I wouldn't vote for them but I wish somebody would have the cajones to stand up to the EU and not pay them their membership and demand our own controls for immigration
  14. I hated those Italian horrors tbh especially Eaten Alive although the Deodato films aren't much better. They're the punk rock of horror and I could never see the attraction to them. The idea of Climate Change nutters being killed on film isn't something I'd enjoy. Far better to see them make c**ts of themselves trying to get through ice
  15. Have you seen "The Green inferno"? I tried to but apparently it was pulled after a row over distribution.
  16. 1. Rangers. 2. Bayern Munich. 3. Manchester United. 4. Celtic. 5. Liverpool
  17. Noticeable the way the really inadequate Yes voters have to come out with the "but no one likes you" posts. Pathetic and bereft of any substance which replicates the White Paper
  18. So is some of the mainstream media Independence Lite or Pro Union Pro Devo or are you posting sh**e to support your arguments?
  19. You said they published a few pro independence articles so how would they be against independence? HTH
  20. Ahhhh right. So they "had the entire mainstream media at their disposal" but not all of them were against independence? So we can discount the "entire mainstream media" for being responsible for your loss then? It has alleviated my confusion. You are full of it
  21. Yeah one day it was 55% and now we're being told by lunatic, tear stained, screaming schemies that it's gonnae happen
  22. Like The Guardian? They have a poll telling us that an independence referendum would return a "Yes" with the caveat that it would have to be held today. It's been quoted by your chronies and indeed celebrated by you. So are they part of a conspiracy or an ally? Can you alleviate my confusion at this anomaly?
