  1. Allegedly Celtic threatened legal action if the other SPL clubs tried to change the 11-1 vote.
  2. His reply implies that he knew all about the proposal. He's only denying the blackmailing of the SFL clubs part. Complicent with wanting newco into SPL2? Typed that as 'wanking the newco into SPL2' the first time. Might actually be truer.
  3. Copied from RTC. 'There is also a rather large elephant in the room, namely UEFA/FIFA. The Italian football authorities tried the same with Fiorentina by placing them into Serie B. This was objected to by UEFA/FIFA and under their instructions the had to start in Serie C2'. Hopefully if UEFA/FIFA did get involved they would seriously kick the balls of every conspirator involved. Maybe too late for a lot of decent fans as I suspect a lot have already made up their mind that they've had enough and wont be back.
  4. I don't know what to say. I knew it was being talked about but I expected all clubs to have a fair vote and for the vote to be no. The blackmail included in the proposal is absolutely disgusting. If this goes through then I am finished with Scottish football. It's as easy for me to go down to Carlisle/Newcastle/Sunderland as it is to see my own team. I'm not sure about supporting the Engerland football team but I won't be supporting Scotland either. This is a move that will truly kill the game in Scotland.
  5. SAY NO TO NEWCO PART II Surely any re-organisation of the league system would require all SPL and SFL teams to vote on it. In which case we still have to make it clear to our clubs that we do not want a re-structuring of our leagues, purely to benefit the newco. We can't accept this constant shifting of the rules. Any newco can only apply for SFL3 as per the existing rules. I'm actually for a re-structuring but for the correct reasons. By all means let's have serious talks about it but no changes to take place for at least two seasons. The argument isnt over yet. Posted the above two days ago. Nothing's changed except that several SFL clubs have already said no to this rule bending. The BBC are reporting old news.
  6. I had been thinking along the lines of East Stirling or Cowdenbeath due to the no ground factor. Didnt realise that Clyde was going the same way. I dont think any backer/consortium is going to have the time to do it for the start of this season. Mainly because they still cant accept the facts of what's happening. Any other fans would have had their new team up and started and their application in for SFL3. Cockwomble, the SPL board, the SFA, Charles Green, Jinty, Sally and all the rest of them have been so busy trying to bend the rules that nobody has done anything else. All it needed was for the rules to be applied properly and the newco could already have had a football team in this season's fixture list. So thats a big thank you to the previously mentioned for getting us where we are today!!!
  7. I dont see any way there's going to be an Ibrox team next season. I think Green will take what he can. Sell any registered players, sell Murray Park, sell the Albion, sell anything else he can get rid of. I think he'll hold on to Ibrox just in case he can get an offer to buy or rent it. There is a chance that for season 2013-14 that some backer(s) might put up the money to buy a smaller club for their league membership and then 'move' them to Ibrox. Of course getting organised for 2013-14 will only happen if they finally realise and accept the truth of the situation they're in. At this moment in time they are still far, far away from that. Any other team's fans would have organised a long time ago to do whatever they could for their club. The inablity of the Ibrox fans to do this is truly amazing. Sitting back and expecting it all to come to them is too ingrained in the vast majority of them.
  8. One of the rumours going round (think I read it on RTC) is that West of Scotland Rugby club will swap their ground for Murray Park. Green can then sell off their old ground for residential development. Not got the same restrictions as Murray Park and only a few miles apart. Dont know if it's true but it's a good rumour.
  9. I see what you mean. But it's an SPL and SFL merger thats being mentioned. Because of the newco. I'm not against the idea in principle, just against it happening for the primary benefit of one club that doesnt even exist. Let's have these talks but only once we actually know what clubs will be playing in what leagues.

  11. That would let a rangers XI play a pub team. Both unregistered. But dont think Arsenal, as an FA registered team, could send out their first team against an unregistered team. Arsenal would be breaking the rules. There may be 'special' circumstances when it can happen. Dont know, but again I think that would be something that would need to be applied for.
  12. Surely the newco cant play anybody? They're not a member of the SFA and havent even applied for membership yet. Any team playing them would be breaking FIFA rules and landing themselves in the shit.
  13. Is it not a 75% vote for any new club in the SFL? That would need 22 or 23 teams to vote for it. Nae chance. At the start of this I expected the newco to apply and get into the 3rd. I accepted that. Now with all the dodgy deals and wholesale corruption being suggested I just want them to totally f**k off and die. The whole game is being tainted by one club that cant just accept responsibilty for the years of cheating and fraud that they have been involved in. And they continue to try and cheat their way out of it.
  14. There's a whole new merchandising range to be sold here. Mugs, t-shirts, pennants, etc, etc :- "WE SAID NO TO NEWCO". They'll sell out.
  15. Is now the time for the fans of the SFL teams to start phoning and emailing their chairmen to say no to newco in division 3? You know it makes sense.
  16. Also increases the non OF teams chances of avoiding relegation = longer stay in the SPL = all of the above.
  17. Just read an article on sportinglife website. 99% of it is nothing new but this paragraph caught my attention. 'The initial judicial panel admitted they had considered throwing Rangers out of the SFA before deciding a transfer embargo was appropriate under one of the organisation's articles which allowed for sanctions considered appropriate' Hadn't heard that mentioned before. If expulsion had been considered beforehand then how much more likely is it to be the option now. The tax dodgers have dug their own grave.
