  1. Great news about Vargas. Plenty of time for him to grow and improve. He is alraedy pretty good! I imagine he can now bring his partner and young child over which should help him settle even more.
  2. Love HMFC. I don't mind Partick Thistle or ICT. I do obviously laugh when Hibs lose (can't help it) but can't say I hate them. Most of the others I have no love or hate for apart from Celtic and Rangers who I utterly despise with a passion.
  3. Do the 2 old firm teams have to be numbers 1 and 2 on your piece? Perhaps as other teams supporters have answeredyou more, it might suggest that they are not the teams that have the worst of it media wise? Also you do realise whichever gets the second top spot will not only whinge about you being "unfair" and "biased" but might actually start to hunt you down? Their supports are quite mental and many truly believe their clubs are hard done by (that would explain all the people laughing at your post). Celtic fans are the Tories of Scottish football. Their club is very wealthy, they get more than their fair share of decisions but whinge like bitches when one thing goes against them. Their fans waffle on about how "right on" they are whilst supporting a PLC. They aren't the brightest!
  4. I did say that I believed both teams would score and I was right. I said Hearts would win 2 1. I was wrong. Brilliant to see how the team are never beaten. Hearts win and Hib lose. Always makes a good Saturday!
  5. So far the best albums I have heard in 2024 are Lucifer: Lucifer V No prizes for guessing it is their fifth album (others have been Lucifer, 2 3 4 so not too creative at titles ala early solo Gabriel). Brilliant 70s sounding psychedelic hard rock with massive 80s choruses with lots of dark humour. The choruses perhaps helped by the drummer also being in The Hellacopters. Madder Mortem: Old Eyes, New Heart Fabulous prog rock with some jazz influences. At times the music could be used in movies, dark ones and at others it is Devin and or Mastodon in riffage and sound. Agneta's voice is fabulous and the whole band are top notch. Bloody great album! Think 2024 is going to be a good one already!
  6. I expect goals from both sides so it will be a 2 1 or 3 2 type game. If Hearts turn up for the whole game it will be in our favour, A draw for us would not be the worst result but I would rather have all 3. I predict then a 2 1 win to HMFC!
  7. I didn't vote but am happy to say that I agree wholeheartedly with folk's number 1 who is of course a massive number 2! I also would happily stick a quid in to make a massive dick to give him. If it can be handed to him at an event that we can see on TV that would be extra lovely.
  8. Black Spiders at Bannermans Edinburgh tomorrow. Willie & The Bandits at the Voodoo Rooms on Friday. Last gig was Pigs x7 which was really good. First time seeing them. Singer is loopy as f**k. Very surreal sense of humour.
  9. Are you suggesting that "slime has escaped justice"? Great track all round (superb album)
  10. Mind I suppose with the thread being about a rapist this TS song would be quite appropriate..
  11. Another call out for RUSH! 3 guys at the top of their game. Even folks that don't like them (I don't get it but hey, it is all subjective) tend to admit to the quality of their musicianship. Live they were unbelievable, everything you heard was coming from those 3 guys, no backstage shenanigans. I still have no idea how they did it. A shout out for a more obscure act SPOCK'S BEARD. All first class players. I saw them down in London one time and for the encore they all came back onstage but had switched instruments. No one was on what they normally play. They played some Deep Purple (and something else which escapes me at the moment) and if I hadn't known that they had switched around I would never have guessed. It was bloody spot on! They also used to occasionaly do this thing with the 2 brothers in the band playing the same acoustic guitar, one doing lead, one rhythm, then they would start swopping round until at points that as one strummed rhythm they would be doing lead on the fretboard whilst the other did it the other way around. They would then keep switching between each other. I was mesmorized watching them. Really great band.
  12. That actually sounds OK. Although I would be interested to know from those in the lower divisions how they feel about a North and a South league. Would most fans that attend the leagues that would be affected feel it is better, ie less travelling possibly bigger crowds, or that the most fun games are the far away ones. I personally think consideration should be given to those in lower divisions as to what is best for them rather than the top divisions clubs just riding roughshod all over them.
  13. Working through the last few days of stuff from Devin Townsend via You Tube. He is posting stuff up most days under the name Quarantine project! Every day is different some melodic some silly and one heavy as f**k (happy here) Enjoy yesterday's present from the Canadian genius!
