Dumbarton Rock

Two gardeners that have never worked on pitch before. I'm training them up until the Peterhead game then they are on their own. They had an eye opener yesterday watching me get it ready. Don't think they realise what they have taken on. Hopefully they will be fine.

Just had enough m8. I done it because I enjoyed the challenge. When you lose that then it's time to go.

Well that was my last game in charge of your pitch. I've had some highs and lows in the last couple of years but thoroughly enjoyed it. All the best for the season ahead and hope you guys stay up once again. Cheers Buster.

Guys if you have any buses going to the Dumbarton game when it comes round you can book into the Rock Bowling Club. We are a 2 minute walk from the stadium, you will be in our function hall which has a telly for all the footy. If you are interested just send me a message and I can get it sorted. Cheers Buster.

Cheers from me and Connor. Seven week turnaround was a big ask considering how bad it was at the end of the season but I was reasonably happy with it. Got good vibes from the players as well which was good. Still got a bit to go but hopefully have it in perfect shape for the start of the season. No thanks to the diddys who decided to start the League Cup in the middle of the close season mind you.

I know for a fact that the club read P&B. Cost me a day on the naughty step.

I've been called a few things over the years but that is a first. Thanks for your input. Give me a shout at the next home game and I'll find a new home for the garden fork.

Couldn't believe the news when I heard it this afternoon. I've been working there for a couple of years now and always got the big chap the one way. Never heard him raise his voice or have a bad word to say about anyone. Will be sorely missed by everyone at the club. RIP Gilbert and condolences at this sad time to all his family and friends.

Just habbit as it pi$$es off electritians when you call them bulbs.

Yeh I believe it wasn't just a straight forward problem with replacing blown bulbs.

Rather soggy, pitch inspection at 9.30. I'll let you's know after I've spoken to the ref. I'll be doing my own inspection the back of 8.

Going by the forecast and the kicking the pitch took last Saturday ul be lucky to see a game on it this weekend.
