Spent yesterday mainly with the people who I know from school, but through them got to know their Halls mates etc. There was also a group Advisor meeting today for the Law School, so we were subdivided into groups for a Campus tour, and we got to know eachother a bit there.
It would feel a bit odd just to attach yourself to somebody. Usually it helps if there's some kind of previous link.
Oh aye, I forgot about the Halls. Still, I was living at home and was one of only a few from school who actually went to Uni and I was the only one at Strathy.
I dogged the first day of term as well because I was still feeling rough from a jolly to Blackpool the day before, so missed the icebreaker stuff too Never knew anybody until we were split into groups in the second week of term

Did you c***s just show up at freshers week on your tod and just attach yourself to somebody?
I could never do that, for my freshers two years ago I just went with my mate who wasn't even at Uni, and knew nobody until about a week after my course started

Jesus H Christ. So as well as singing in a choir, founding the model railway club and playing cricket you also like playing Pokemons?

I see Massone was saying in the papers yesterday that Livi's debts were nowhere near those of St Johnstone or Clyde.
The man has obviously done his research......

Indeed he has, but he's not in There Will Be Blood.
Oh gawd. I read it as Blood Diamond - Daniel Day Lewis is good as well I've not seen there will be blood but No Country was a good film

I just watched There Will Be Blood and then I drank all my flatmate's Milkshake

My wee brother, making his first ever bet, won almost £2000 on a £4 punt at the weekend, after taking 10 teams on the sections list. Amongst others, he mistakenly took Israel to beat Croatia and Macedonia to beat Russia, the jammy c**t

I was actually working on the basis that you didnt play yourself making it 15 by 2 = 30...dont worry easy mistake to make
Touche, ya dobber

personally i would like a 16 team top division playing each other home and away
32 games a season?
*BTW, I deduced that figure by multiplying 16 by 2*
amalgamation would be preferable:lol:
Trying not to slur you personally here, but you're making it hard
Sadly, more evidence that the average OF fan has completely lost touch of the game

i have had a season ticket since 1981 whilst living in kirkcaldy...
Why?
my old man...was a die hard raith man.So may I ask why you saw the need to support Rangers?
Scottish football has big problems from top to bottom and something has to giveHmm, I wonder which clubs are to blame. Maybe if someone had the monopoly on success and TV money, and a stranglehold over most commuinities, and a lecherous, f**k 'em all nature then we could use them as a scapegoat....no such clubs on these shores though
....I have my own ideas on somethings and iam just wondering if you are happy with the status quo.Of course I'm not! However there's little chance of anything happening under the current governing bodies (all 4 of them!!!!)
I reckon that there's too many arguments as to what the structure should be like, but I would prefer an 18 team SPL and 3 10 team lower divisions, with a pyramid scheme introduced so that teams from the Highland League and other Junior associations have the chance to play in the SFL, thus ending the ridiculous preservation of the team who finish bottom of Division Three, ie probably East Stirling
Anyway, this is the Welcome forum, there's a few topics on restructuring if you want to search them

Dont get me wrong i am originally from Kirkcaldy
Tragic. Maybe therein lies the problem. You hail from Kirkaldy yet you chose to follow the herd and take the easy option of supporting a team with readymade success. Perhaps if local community clubs like Clyde and Raith Rovers had more support from the locals, rather than see them all buy Rangers merchandice and attend Ibrox twice a decade, then we could all start looking ahead to the 'bigger picture'
Wait, don't tell me.....the old man supported the Behrs

Hello ...I have just joined up and cant help but notice so many posters from 'lesser clibs' .... Hardly representitive of Scottish Football....but hey ho....WATP.
Most OF fans don't last long on here. They're usually driven back to cesspits like fuhrerfuhrer.com when they can't handle the barrage of truths thrown at them
Welcome

Who's Going To Uni?

If you're staying at home then that's a crap timetable. You'll be travelling home at peak times most days and you've got a 3hr gap between lectures on Tuesdays, which is a b*****d. You've also got a few days when you have to go in for just the 1 lecture. Fair enough if you've got your own pad, but otherwise it's a pain in the tits. My timetable last year was pretty good - think it was 16 hours but I was usually in at 10 and finished by 2 or 3, and had most Fridays off
Do you still go to Clyde games BTW? Haven't seen you post in there for a while
