    Absolutely.

O'Hara and Kiltie were invisible for most of the match.

Motherwell midfield managed to dominate the second half completely.

Thankfully Baccus will be back for Wednesday, hopefully along with Gallagher, with Gogic moving back into midfield.

Thought Marcus Fraser was really good today. Main had a strong game too.

Fraser was the best on the park.

We need to get Dunne on a new contract as soon as possible, he’s absolutely superb, he’s made the step up from Motherwell and he doesn’t look out of place at all, strolled it.

What a difference Gogic has made to the midfield. The man is a machine. Covers every blade of grass all over the park; closes down and wins balls off the opposition more than any player I have watched. Pity it has taken this long to give him a starting place.

He’s made a huge difference mate, needs to stay in the team, Ethan is a better passer etc but Gogic gives you more with his energy and pressing, like you said he covers every blade of grass.

I'm also comfortable in the knowledge that this debt is the  government loan to be paid back over many years interest free. I hope we keep the Kibble partnership as much as I like SG to me the Kibble is a good thing for the club. I fear If their shares are reduced as SG wants they may pull out. As for our management really hope we can tie them down long term and reward them accordingly to stop the merry go round of management change.

Who really cares what SG wants ffs 😅

St Mirren are far better off with Kibble than without and we are also far better off without SG.

    I didn't say that I wasn't concerned.

Much of the loss was incurred due to the training ground revamp.

As pointed out in the accounts, that was a one off cost and such a significant financial outlay won't occur again.

I'm satisfied that the board have put measures in place to ensure that we maintain financial prudency as we move on.

Who was the chairman that neglected ralston for all those years for it to need such a costly revamp now?

Realty is online Saints fans make up a tiny fraction of the support.  If  those who oppose the man responsible for you having a club to support today was the views of the wider St Mirren support then Mr Gilmour would  not be any where near SMISA. Fact is he was voted onto the SMISA board by St Mirren fans.  A lot of nonsense is being pushed on forums. Such as Gilmour is bulling fellow SMISA members.  Where is the proof  ?  Fellow board members resigning who can't debate their corner. The other lie being told is Gilmour wants Kibble out . Nonsense Gilmour is on record saying he would like Kibbles share percentage reduced.  Another lie Gilmour wants on the club board   Gilmour has said he has no intrest being on the club board.  Gilmour spent many a sleepless night ,many hours and money stabilising the club with his fellow board members. . Did not agree with some ways the club was run under his tenure but the man for me deserves respect.  If there is a financial problem Gilmour is the right man to look assessing if it’s sustainable or not.

If Gilmour says it’s a lie he wants on the board then it’s definitely a lie then…………he’s such an honest fella.

The whole point of SMISA was to keep the club in safe hands not just dodgy owners but a sound financial footing also. If there is a wee bit speculation going on that's fine if it's manageable.  If on the other hand more has been spent on a gamble of finishing on 7th place and the selling of player/players then that's a gamble to far for me.  The fact a former chairman who saved the club putting it on a sustainable financial footing wants to look at current finances can only be a good thing.  Given the money many hours spent trying to save the club we support Mr Gilmour at least deserves to see our financial state.  Nothing to see here then nothing to worry about.

Mr Gilmour deserves to see our financial state?  😅

Good to read all is not as bad as rumours suggested.  If it was not for Stewart Gilmour And former board members you would not have a club to support.  I'm sure the financial rumours could have been handled better if a former board member who saved the club has concerns many will sit up and take notice myself included given Gilmour’s track record saving the club.

Its Gilmour that was pushing the rumours even although it was bullshit.

Your’e another who was believing it all too, I think you said “it was sending shivers through you “ or something along those lines.

Also the halfwit that works in boots that has lapped up all the rumours, I’m embarrassed for him.

  8. Kiltie needs to stay in that team, he made a huge difference last night.

Still think Grieve is more effective coming on as an impact sub rather than starting.

Ayunga needs a spell on the bench, he came on and put in a half arsed effort, that shot he put out the ground was just laziness.

Brophy in the short time he was on worked hard, pressed and closed people down, we need to see him get longer than 10 minutes here and there though.

The situation with Brophy is similar to when we had Craig Dargo. Great player when he is fully fit but those occasions are sadly few and far between.

Dargo was a very clever player, his intelligence off the ball like bringing others into play made up for the lack of goals he scored for us, a brilliant football brain.

Brophy isn’t scoring goals and he doesn’t have that football brain either.

I think like most things to do with the club the truth about the Kibble is somewhere in between.

I don't think for a minute that they are hellbent on destroying the club and are recklessly taking us on a spending spree that will take us to oblivion.

Nor do I think they are faultless. Mistakes have most certainly been made along the way since they came in, and to be honest they do seem to have an awful lot more control and influence than I thought they would have as a 27% shareholder.

They've brought a lot of good things to the club as well.

We appear, to me anyway, to be a much more professional organisation in terms of the way we present and market the club. We are doing a load of good work getting youngsters along to the games, attendances are up 12% and I think the appointment of Keith Lasley looks pretty inspired. He "gets it" in my opinion.

The accounts aren't going to be pretty though and as such I can't imagine the AGM will be either. Should all be out in the open at least and we'll know where we stand. They are usually issued mid to late November so we don't have long to wait.

Not far off it, the truth lies in the middle, kibble have definitely done a lot more good than bad and they are hardly going to buy a stake in the  club for 400k and then want it to go tits up.

We are a much more professional outfit now, crowds are up too etc.

We will shift 1 or 2 on in January but it’s nowhere near as bad as some people want you to think, been blown way out of proportion.

I expect Brophy and another to leave but that will be about it.
