Playing nice football is O.K. if there is an end result but we were done with 3 punts up the park which we couldn't deal with.

Well,that's Paddy CREGG sorted. Signing on fee, contract. One more year for the pension. He will probably play a few games before going into hibernation mode. You might be reading too much into the squad list. It's not like the site to be that up to date. Of the 18 players listed , 2 are untried ex development squad, 2 are long term injured and 1 is officially retired leaving only 13 fit and experienced players. No real surprise that the 4 listed are to be released?? Mark Millar is obviously waiting to see if a better offer comes along. Hands off D.C.! He would be a major loss if he goes. Looks like J.W. will have a bit of wheeling and dealing to do in the weeks ahead.

The scrapping of the SPFL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE at the end of the season is set to have a major impact on the loan market. The SPFL are bringing back reserve -team football with an open-age group , and Development Loans between Clubs will no longer be an option,with other temporary moves set to go. Emergency Loans (28 days) and Standard Loans (93 days) are also to be done away with. Does this mean that the COLTS IN LEAGUE 2 saga is finally kicked into the long grass? Does it mean no loans full stop. Does it mean loans are only permitted during a transfer window and must be season long or for half a season. I cannot find any details on the SPFL site but the POST must have got the story from somewhere.

Roll it out, punt it out of play as far up the pitch as possible, squeeze up and cut off the throw back to their keeper,fight to win back possession and kick it out near corner flag.
