Surprised, encouraged and impressed by what I witnessed yesterday afternoon. I'm still pinching myself...
Did we REALLY just go a whole 90 minutes without anyone coming off injured?!

Having been on the road the last couple of weeks and not made it to any games, from afar everything looked pretty rosy:
4 wins out of 4
12 goals scored
Only 2 conceded (1 pen)
3 strikers with 10 between them
So it's been interesting getting on here the last couple of days and reading quite a few concerns. Glad to hear today was so encouraging though, and definitely looking forward to the start of the season - which I'll be back just in time for

Chatting to a mate today who understands that A) Lindsay to Rotherham is definitely not happening and B) Lindsay has stated he is happy at County and "staying". Can anyone confirm the latest on this?
Personally, I'd be very happy to see him stay.

Our final home game of the season against Queen of the South has been moved to the Friday night. Another 7.05 kick-off on BBC Scotland.
Although I share a lot of the anger and frustrations of fans at some of the awful scheduling that goes on these days, this is the first time I have probably ever publicly commented on such stuff online...
I am as close to 'raging' as I tend to get, at this news. Trophy day (ok, it's not clinched yet, but let's be realistic), last home game of the season, not been able to take my kid along for ages mostly due to late kick-offs... I was SO up for the fun family Saturday afternoon experience that this was going to be, and now this utter nonsense is announced. It is a mess on so many levels, one of the most glaringly obvious ones being that the TV broadcast is going to look pretty stupid cutting out just before what in many ways is the "main event" of the day, the presentation and title celebrations.
Who's it recommended to constructively voice displeasure at in a situation like this?
There are some proper imbeciles out there.

Football can be so strange!
Never in my life have I so thoroughly enjoyed a game of football which I found so thoroughly miserable for so very long.
That game was like a 90-minute summary of our season so far: Injuries; huge swathes of absolutely dire football; County came out on top.
I wasn't there for BurstBeachBalls. I did witness LiamBoyce4-0. But for the very nature of it all, yesterday has undoubtedly become my favourite Dingwall derby experience. Off the scale PLEASING.
Edited to add: I really hope someone got a photo of Fox's celebrations at the winning goal, it made for an extremely photogenic scene!

Of course what would really make it interesting, is if they went the whole season unbeaten and got relegated... This is now what I am holding out for, right up until it becomes mathematically impossible*.
*or they lose a game

On current form, ICT are going to:
1. Go the whole season unbeaten.
2. Finish 25 points off the top.
3. Not even make the playoffs.
That would be an astonishing achievement, to be fair.

Manager of the month awards as well.
These boys are going to cost Ladbrokes an absolute fortune this season (and hopefully in many seasons to come).

Good friends who are neighbours of Andrew Davies, and teacher at his kids' school, reliably inform me that the Davies house is available to let, and the Davies kid(s?) is/are not appearing back at that school after the summer.
Despite how I started to feel about him towards the end of last season, if in actual fact he's NOT past it and a return to proper physical health and fitness is realistic, then I'm pretty gutted to be losing him - though not at all surprised.

No, wait... What?
Pleased with Lindsay signing. Things shaping quite nicely, I reckon.

Craig Curran set to sign, what’s he like ??cheers
Boyce was at his best alongside Curran, and Curran was at his best alongside Boyce. They were an absolute dream together, in my opinion. When we had Boyce, I wouldn't have wanted any other player alongside him than Curran. For all the positive reasons mentioned above, and he also chipped in with a reasonable goal return himself.
That, however, all feels like a very long time ago now.
If you have a Liam Boyce type alongside him, and Craig rediscovers his form and confidence, you've done well. Otherwise,
hate to say it, but no big dealhard to predict, certainly no guarantees. I, like Les Westander, have huge respect for and have been a massive fan of Curran. For his own sake, I hope he comes good again - as long as it doesn't help United out-perform County next season.1 -

Any update on Gardyne? Think he'd be a great player for you in the Championship and you should do all you can to convince him to stay...
My source, who I have every reason to believe and no reason to doubt, tells me Gardyne put pen to paper on Friday.

I'm reliably informed Gardyne has signed up to stay on. There may be mixed reaction after this season. Personally I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. I think it's understandable individual standards dropped this season when part of a collective that was abjectly failing. A few of this past seasons squad will hopefully benefit from a bit of a fresh start and a few new team-mates.

Seems like it's a closed door friendly unless St Mirren fans can advise otherwise. A few of us suspect it will be at Stirling Uni like our last closed door friendly v Blackpool.
I do thank you for the information you have shared, even though the information is somewhat disappointing. (I had been hoping to take my nephews along to a game before they return to their home far away later next week).
Ah, well.

Hello lovely people. Can any of you beauties tell me when and where the St Mirren friendly is taking place? I would be most grateful.

SAFE!**
(As I have been confident for a good old while that we would be.)
...and so, the question that's been at the back of my mind, returns to the front: Do I still not want McIntyre at the helm next season? Deep down, I know the answer is YES, I want him gone. But he always does that thing of ending a(nother) basically very poor season really quite well. And gives you that niggling little thought that, actually, maybe, he HAS got what it takes to make us a consistently top 6 kind of team, certainly one that doesn't need to be worrying about relegation. It's a bit like Scotland qualifying campaigns, overall pretty dreadful but really encouraging performances or signs or results towards the end, and we kid ourselves we only just missed out in the end, and it's all set up for us to do really well in the next campaign...
What do the rest of you think?
** I know we're not technically safe yet.

Ross County have agreed a one-year contract extension with striker Craig Curran.
The 27-year-old Englishman's current deal had been due to expire this summer.
Curran, who joined County from Conference outfit Nuneaton Town in January 2015, has scored seven goals in 34 appearances this season...

Hearts vs Ross County
in Scottish Premiership General Chatter

I don't think there's ever going to be a situation where Hearts aren't considered the favourites at home against Ross County. However, neither do I think County are often likely to have more reason for optimism about a fixture there than they do just now. Morale is high, form is good, and Hearts are so far unconvincing. It's clearly a step up compared to our fixtures so far this season, but we certainly carry a goal threat and, so far, haven't been conceding many.
Very difficult to call, but I'm going for a highly entertaining 2-2, with Stewart and Mullin the scorers for County.
