While getting relegated would undoubtedly be fucking shite, Nelms has pretty much said that the new stadium development will go ahead regardless of which division we're in (which has led me to believe that we were bought purely as a means to build a profitable new retail, housing, and sports/leisure centre rather than an end in and of itself.). So as long as the club could balance the books by holding on to the couple thousand loyal support it did during the bad years and keeps ticking over, I don't think relegation carries the same risk to the existence of the club as it used to for us. That being said I really fucking hope we can Killie our way out of this mess.

I don't think all of them are shite like some would suggest though. In fact, I think there's a couple who any other team at this level would be glad to have at their disposal. However we definitely have way too much dross that probably got away with being a passenger or bit part player at other clubs. Also, there doesn't seem to be a unity or team cohesiveness about them, it looks to me like they're just a ragtag group of randoms playing football together.

I wont be surprised in the slightest if that ends up being the case.

But we're in a higher (and in theory, more difficult) league, playing good football despite the disappointing results, and improving as a club by almost every metric. Whereas they're in a lower (easier, in theory) league, playing turgid hoofball and getting worse, and their fans are on the brink of civil war while their owner/director wants to offload them and leave but nobody's buying.
