You can have fun without imbibing alcohol. Personally I dont find that consuming a substance which makes me more disconnected from reality is ever an improvement. That's what works for me. People obviously find themselves in many situation where they realise their enjoyment is improved by drinking. Totally alien to me but that's just brain chemistry for you.

I don't mind my work-mates but I don't really speak to them much, I avoided the Christmas party last year and won't go again this year. Feel a bit awkward whenever I don't go as I'm one of the youngest in the office and everyone says they enjoyed it but I really don't want to spend my free time getting drunk with people I have to spent 40 odd hours around every week.

As I'm sure you are aware it was an arbitrary cut off point. Frankly if you need a drink at any time of day you must be an excruciating dullard but especially so if you can't make it to lunchtime without alcohol.

Drinking pints in a pub is (obviously) fine. Dont do it myself because I hate pints and I hate pubs but each to their own. Drinking pints before 11am though?

Good stuff, I hope you enjoy it, I've never had so much fun playing a co op game with friends. It does get a bit crazy at times but it all builds up from level to level, let us know if you have a fun time with it.

It only took 20 years but I finally watched The Full Monty yesterday on the wifes persuasion. Really enjoyed it. Now I'm no acting connoisseur but I have always felt Robert Carlyle was a magnificent actor and he showed it there. Didn't cross my mind for one second that this was the same actor who played Begbie or Hamish Macbeth. Its funny because I must have been 10 when that movie came out and I vividly remember my folks buying the VHS and me not being allowed to watch it. Something which always resonated with me because similar things happened with my dads Roy Chubby Brown tapes. Of course i was old enough to understand it was about strippers but didn't think much at the time. My mum was a bit overprotective though, she didnay let me watch the shawshank redemption because of 5 seconds of shagging so you can understand why the thought of a bunch of yorkshire men flapping their willows was a bit much. Its only watching it as an adult that I realise its a great story that touches on some heavy themes - suicide, poverty, unemployment, but still has a feel good vibe to it. Also couldn't help but think I recognised Carlyles tubby mate and lo and behold its Rob Baratheon from Game of Thrones aka Mark Addy. Top film.

The Assassins Creed games are not great but calling Black Flag the worst of the bunch is a bit hyperbolic. Many fans of the franchise highlight it as the best the games have been and that's without making mention of the technical issues that plagued Unity.

It gets insane but if you are completely put off by the first hour then its possibly not for you, there are a lot of dialogue heavy cut-scenes and expositions
