  1. 70 residents in a morning or afternoon (3.5 hours) gives 3 minutes per jab. That sounds like barely enough time to get between rooms and change syringes. I’d expect some time taken to ensure that the right person is sitting there, check notes for allergies or other relevant factors ( likelihood of flipping out etc), then fill in forms and then change PPE and thoroughly clean hands and equipment. I’d guess you’re talking more like 10 mins per jab. There will be a lot of homes with fewer than 50 residents as well.
  2. Saints of salvation. Final part of Peter F Hamilton’s salvation trilogy. Lots of good ideas and some good set pieces. It was set on a massive scale but never felt quite epic enough to fill that. Worth reading if you read the first two but disappointing as a stand alone.
  3. Dump the rotten fish....at the palace door...that will get the attention I was wondering whether they’re just waiting for an audience before they open the doors and start unloading. blocking the roads with a few tonnes of prawns and mackerel would certainly make for some good pictures
  4. It’s on my bbc. Trucks driving around isn’t a hugely attention grabbing stunt.
  5. For most anti vaccine tits this will be the first time denying themselves a vaccine and not simply endangering their children. I’m looking forward to some karmic obituaries over the next couple of years.
  6. So long as restaurants stay shut for Valentine’s Day that will do me
  7. Was in total agreement with this right up to the last phrase. Thatcher did “write off” huge swathes of her own country, which included Wales and Scotland but also industrial Yorkshire, Merseyside, teeside etc. Never underestimate fanatics
  8. That does make national unity difficult, but they also have a common language that is far more widely spoken. As a nation I'd say that Wales is better defined in many ways than Scotland, but less well defined for the reasons you mention. As a state though, there has never been a unified single welsh state and they lack many of the institutions (especially law) that make Scottish civic nationalism potentially a more practical proposition.
  9. You know what would be good for Welsh prosperity? Some sort of European Governmentthat spends a fortune on infrastructure for deprived parts of Wales. But they voted against that.
  10. You're all going to feel pretty silly when we finish second and win the cup.
  11. Had a chance to calm down a bit. Still fuming though. County played well and looked like they knew what they wanted to do in attack. We were abysmal and all over the place. 25 good minutes but the rest was as bad as we’ve been since McGhee.
  12. County have scored all of the goals in the Scottish premier so far.
  13. That’s a big part of it. Another big part of it is that they just genuinely don't care about other people.
  14. He'll look worse with Hedges out. I'm guessing with our available personnel he'll start behind a pairing of Cosgrove and Main, which probably also won't bring out the best in him.
  15. The Tories must be privately getting very concerned about the optics of all of this. It wouldn't take much perceived hardship for a population mostly, and I stress mostly, unused to it to take a very dim view of such matters. Brexit was prosecuted on the basis of bombast and ignorance and now reality is biting. Bring it on. Some Tories probably are. Some are so out of touch they think that jokey references to the fish being British are what the plebs want. Very marie antoinette. And we know how that ended.
  16. That would be sick. They should be made to watch (WRK's machete upgrade version). It will be a powerful deterrent and is the only language these people understand.
  17. I guess they just go around england and Wales, like this: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-55682597 In much the same way that non EU imports will no bypass the EU to avoid double tarrifs.
