  1. This will come across as a post from a bitter "wee teamer" but I have no sympathy for the Pars at all. Last time in the first, the major difference at the end of the season was Dunfermlines ability to strengthen the squad in the January window.

Like Rangers and Hearts, DA have lorded it over their local rivals for years faking supremacy with money they don't have.

Like I said, no sympathy. Take your medicine and GIRUY in the process!

  2. 1. Well he's already said that, but how else will they play in the Champions League?

    2. And who caused that mess, The SFA or one club? And who is it affecting? Scottish football or ONE CLUB?

    3. US?

    4. Eh, rangers rendered themselves ineligible through non-compliance.

    5. I will have a pint of whatever he's drinking. I f what the fans want drives Scottish football,There would be no Tribute Act. No celtic, either, I'll bet.

    6. They were damned lucky to get a berth in the bottom tier. They should have been sine died.

    7. Only one of those valuations stands out as unrealistic (in football terms). Care to guess which one? Clue: it's the one without the massive SKY income, and no international-grade sponsors. Oh, and the one which was apparently worth 5.5 million a few months ago. Or was it £2?

    8. Yes, this is what the fans want. It's also what the fans currently get. Where exactly do a bunch of kids and jobbing professionals led by the dirtiest player in Scotland, fit into this dream?

Was gonna pick it apart WRK but it appears you've done it for me. I can't figure out if he's trying to compare Rangers with Man U and Real Madrid because he's fuckin stupid or if because his audience is fuckin stupid!

  3. If you honestly think that there was anything any Rangers fans could of done to stop Murray then yer deluded, the truth is that the majority of fans never knew anything was even wrong and were certainly not aware how big the underlying problem was, trying to lay blame at the fans door in hindsight is quite frankly pathetic, we are football fans, we pay money to go watch our teams try and win football matches week in week out, if they are doing this then we trust those in charge are taking care with the finances, the rest of the time we are getting on with our own lives

Look at the teams in England, every one of them is in massive debt yet I don't see mass ongoing protests from fans, a few weeks and it disappears into the background

The only time fans really turn on the money men is when success dries up on the pitch, this was what Celts for change was all about, your fans were sick of playing 2nd best to Rangers and this was the motivation to protest, f**k all to do with debt or club finances, this was the reason the clubs financial problems were exposed and fergus became so popular

This post, particularly the bit in bold, justify every head-in-sand jpg that has been posted in this Epic thread.

Truth is that nothing mattered as long as you were getting it up them across the city and lording over Scottish football. The fans would not have stomached Murray pulling back investment in the team and were the primary driver in the demise of the club. You felt you deserved more, deserved better, deserved to win.

The Orcs now deserve everything that this decades long mind-set is delivering. Karma can be so sweet!

    GIRFUY!

  4. Rangers fans accusing Alex Thomson of having a diseased mind

His blog article sums the situation up nicely. You put yourself in mortal danger by standing up for what's right in this sorry affair. There has been criticism of Regan, Doncaster etc and justifiably so as they have shown pretty poor leadership in all this but if you consider what could happen to them and theirs if they had done what they should've then I think most of the critics are showing more than a bit of hypocrisy.

Scottish Football needs strong leadership and ultimately it has spineless middle managers and Old Firm minded representatives.

In other words a fertile breeding ground for corruption.

  5. Did anyone take notice of the figures in the sky news graphic on the right hand side? In the 6 month period during admin the clubs income was circa £4.5m and the outgoings were circa £7.5m! A lot of the outgoings were fixed costs like catering, policing etc. The interesting one for me was post admin wages (25%) of £2.3m. This is less, pro rata, than the current wage bill of £6m.

if the costs for 6 months during admin are £7.5m then the absolute lowest annual costs to maintain the status quo is £15m. Income from season tickets is absolute max £10m, with little other real substantial income we will round that up to £12m.

As Jeff Randell sniggered to his economics pal, explain the maths? The share issue is to plug a financial hole. If it fails it's tatas again.

Also, that fuckin tool McCoist does a mean Churchill dog impression!

  6. My link

Is this his backer with "Wealth off the radar"?

    Haven't we been here before?

You couldn't make it up? Is Charles hoping for a second liquidation perhaps?

I think all his guys have wealth off the radar, much the same as you or I do ;)

It would take a new word to describe Rangers fans if Murray ended up involved again. Gullible doesn't quite cut the mustard

  7. I don't think any football fan would have a problem with continuation if the debts were paid in full, even at this stage.

The behaviour of The Rangers Football club is absolutely appalling, I thought this new club was looking forward to making "new friends". They appear to be the same big ugly bullies the former club was.

I doubt my club would still be in Scottish Football had it behaved like either oldco or newco, despicable!

  8. I'm still finding it amusing that The Rangers fans are in a flap that the Lawyers tasked with digging the dirt on Rangers alleged cheating may have an agenda to find as much evidence as possible.

If I have a crime committed against me I would hope the Prosecution lawyer would dig as much dirt as possible rather than show up and be objective and see both sides of the story. That is the job for the judge!

  9. At the minute there is no distinguishable difference between Rangers (IL) and The Rangers football club. If this is to remain then any punishment due to Rangers (IL) should be borne by The Rangers football club.

I'm pretty sure thats what Charley Chuckles has signed up for as part of the league membership as it ensures he will make a pretty penny from the great season ticket con.

I almost feel sorry for the "Berz".....

    almost

  10. I think the The Rangers representation on here shows clearly why BDO must insist on a name change for the newco. 40 odd thousand conned into buying season tickets for a brand new club based on the lie that it's a continuation of Rangers Plc(IL).

Time to clear up the confusion.

Also quite amusing that they think that courts of law would entertain an appeal on a professional legal judgement because of which team the lawyer/ judge supports. Only the Old Firm could conjur up such a scenario
