  1. Is this you realising you were wrong then? Zinger!
  2. You can only quote the second part in the app. It was pretty clear I was responding to your first part. Relax, it must be hard to read thru your flies
  3. I don't think I've suggested such a thing. And I wasn't one of the ones having a go at him for not scoring. My point is that he won't get as much service for Scotland as he will for United so I'm just concerned it won't work out for him as he will be living of scraps in the majority of Scotland games. That was clearly addressed to someone else. You only answered because you do do that.
  4. So to clarify, your saying because he didn't score against dunfermline he's not going to make it? No, are you saying you put your trousers on your head and your jumper on your legs and walk into town. Peeking out your flies?
  5. No, you have to go back to the start of this. Shankland was getting slated because he didn't score against alloa or dunfermline or some other shite. As if that was somehow proof he couldnt cut it at international level. And all the goals he has count for nothing because he didn't score in a particular game. My point was if he doesn't get chances he's not going to score. And he would get better service playing for Scotland.
  6. Go and have a look at the stats for this season. I'm fairly confident Utd will have created more chances than Scotland. Do you not think better quality players create better and more chances? Do you think that Andy Robertson or Ryan Fraser or James forrest or John Mcginn or any number of players. Would not improve the number and quality of chances if they played for Dundee utd. Is that what you think? As for the created chance part, christ Dundee utd play different games against different teams to the teams Scotland play. Do you know that?
  7. Have you never watched a Scotland match? Groan for your obvious response. No you never picked me up wrong. The Scotland players will create better chances than the Dundee utd players.
  8. The point wasn't to be critical of Shankland's performance. The point was it's ludicrous to say he'll do fine against San Marino, as a matter of fact given he's prone to off days like every other player in the world. It's ludicrous to think the service he will get playing for Dundee utd is comparable with what he will get playing for Scotland.
  9. You should say it on every thread, it is absolutely hilarious
  10. Shhh, they don't know it's not real
  11. I had derevyanchenko by a wide margin. Been a big fan of golovkin but hes finished at the top level now.
  12. Ryan Gauld is in no way a decent comparison. What other hot prospects? You think this isn't the first time we have been down this road, when was the last time we had a teenager playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world (money wise at least). Getting rave reviews every time he steps on the pitch? I can't think of one example. You must be going back to the mullet days to think of someone. This is a unique situation, the guy is a special talent. He should be in as soon as possible.
  13. I think being a first team regular at Chelsea standard is a bit of a high bar for our squad. Apart from Mctominay I couldnt see any of our midfielders being given a sniff of a chance at Chelsea.
  14. Really?? I was never a fan tbh, he had great pace and really played his heart out. Had some great moments for sure for Scotland. Also gave the ball away regularly, couldn't hit a decent cross, was just generally lacking in quality.
  15. I'd agree with all that if we were currently a winning team on a good run. But were a team with a supposed great midfield, struggling to control any midfield.
  16. Unless it's a scottie dog it wouldnt be eligible
  17. 20% of all Kenny Millers goals were mis-hit scuffed shots. 80% were the ball accidently hitting off him, usually when he was looking the wrong way.
  18. Id agree with that, he certainly had no lack of commitment or desire I also agree with that, its not me who says his record stands up to anyone And some days the sun shines on a dogs ass
  19. The highest level he played at was the english premier league, where he scored 6 goals in 55 games.
  20. Does it stand up against Gerd Mullers? or Peles? Kenny Miller was crap absolute crap, ran around alot and then missed the 1 or 2 chances he had. Saying his record is good in comparison to other scotland strikers is a low bar really. Nothing against the guy personally always turned up and tried his best. But come on he was crap
  21. Rhodes should have been given the chance, and Griffiths should have been in much earlier than he was. I think if the current management had been in charge at the time both would have happened. Unfortunately it looks like both of them are never going to get back to their best unfortunately. So unfortunately due to lack of alternatives mcburnie is the main man at the moment. On the original topic I'd have Gilmour in the squad, coming off the bench against Russia and starting against San Marino. Our much talked about brilliant midfield really isn't that brilliant. Or hasn't been that brilliant. Armstrong can't get a game. Mcgregor should have left for a bigger league to push on. Mcginn does well in England but hasn't really played well for Scotland.
