  1. Down to the club shop this morning picked the new top up, even better in person, wasn’t sure about the multiple sponsors being on it but they go well and obviously the more sponsors the more cash. Looking forward to seeing away top

  2. Good run out for the lads. Knew they had a wee session this morning could tell boys were leggy, first game impressed by jack duncan at the back, jamie doc when he came on aswell as butterworth wingers than can take on a full back and beat them. Mcpherson reminds me of sinky puts in a great effort a live wire pulls centre halves out of position. Happy with the game never look to much into friendlies.

The new top would look really good without the big red and blue sponsor on the front. Wonder how easy it is to remove 🙂.

This is a terrible statement. Do you want our main front of shirt sponsor to change their company colours just because you disapprove of it? This company have paid a great amount of cash not just this season but the last couple for front of top sponsorship we should all be grateful to collier.

Have just read the CISS email.

A lot of good stuff in it. With the suggestion to incorporate the late Zoe Smith into something, and the subject of what to have as a trading name, can the 2 of these not tie in?

I’m also not sure about the vagueness of the amount to be paid. Would prefer a set amount , or even a 2 tier system with 2 set amounts and different reasons for paying whichever chosen.
I guess it’s really early days though, and it’s a decent start.
    Well done to all.

Tiered system will come into place when the ciss has its own bank account set up which is a real nightmare to do. This is just a starter so the club can start seeing the benefits from the money coming in sooner rather than later.

  5. Sorry to change the subject I know how great it’s been talking about cowden buying themselves into the viaplay cup. But the junction bar cowdenbeath supporters are taking on new members for the season ahead, come be apart of a great supporters club who is doing a lot for club and community. Message our facebook page or myself for more info.

  6. Teams really taking shape now and can’t help myself but get excited for the season ahead. Still looking for a backup keeper or a keeper that will challenge for no.1 spot. Another left back. Would like to see us dive into the loan market also but can’t wait for rosyth away, do they still play at fleet grounds?

  7. I am starting to agree with all the other posters. This is an absolute outrage that my club has accepted the chance to play in the viaplay cup and take 22k minimum from it. We should have declined and offered it to stirling uni instead. 🤡

  8. Definitely better groups to be in financially but we’re still getting a nice sum just for competing and good games for the lads to play in before the season. St mirren would bring a decent crowd to central park along with arbroath

Of course, not going to turn it down, & nothing against Cowden for grabbing the opportunity that has been presented; but equally there surely can't be a Cowden fan that can argue against that it should have been UoS that were offered it?

Totally agree but at the same time buckie thistle would feel hard done by the extra place going to lowland league club. I think thats why they’ve done it as last spfl team that was eligible. Certainly no complaining from our end as its a good cash booster

  10. Amazing news regarding getting in to viaplay cup, brings in great funds and draw is no longer regionalised so potential good away days or good gate money at home. Also positive is we’re not running around trying to field a team for it as we’ll be set ready for it

Any chat on signings? Would love to have seen Kavanagh in maroon but good business from Sauchie tying him up on a two year contract in November.

If he stays there I make them favourites for winning the league this year.

Heard tranents paid a heavy transfer fee for him

Any news on the supporters Trust? Last update I can see was posted on the club website a month ago?

Numerous meetings going on behind the scenes, looking to get it set up as soon as possible will take a while as setting up accounts take time but looking to take trust pledge payments via 100club. I’m sure something will be up on the website soon confirming everything
