Yeah, the lounge could maybe be used to drive some additional income.

I went in for a drink Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that there were a couple of groups enjoying the hospitality, maybe 15-20 people.

Not sure if that’s typical for a Saturday game, if so, it leaves some room for other fans but not a huge amount of space.

£3 for a bottle of Peroni was more than reasonable (used to Edinburgh prices 😞), and there were quite a few people buying drinks.

Some sort of deal that is priced lower than the regular hospitality, but without taking the risk of taking business away from the existing hospitality  income stream might work.  Say, £20 for entrance, a couple of bottles and a programme (wasn’t impressed with the £3 pie on Saturday from the hut, that’s why I said programme 😁)

If there are games when there are not much in the way of hospitality bookings, you could advertise it in advance, as you know there would be more space to spread out in the lounge. And I agree,  if you could entice a former player along before the game in the lounge now and again, and advertise it, might get some people along.

The pies from the hut aren’t the best. The ones we got at half time as part of hospitality were unbelievable mince and gravy pie couldn’t believe it. They would sell easily if we put them on for sale. As for the lounge for me If it had live sports football early kick off or maybe the horse racing it would bring possibly a few punters in to get into the ground settled with a beverage and watch the sports. Of course all comes down to cost, no idea how dear the mince and gravy pies are and then obviously the cost of sky/bt sport. Horses are normally council tele would imagine the teles have a satellite connection.

Think we are at 24 players far too much could do with shedding a few more really.

We had 7 on the bench on Wednesday and I counted 6 players sat in the stand aswell the squad size is far to big, if you think about these players we’ve missed out on for a few pounds we could have easily spent it if we didnt sign so much.

I've been to a few Stirling Uni games this season (they often play on Sundays and I have nothing else to do!!)

Was at their home game against Broomhill. Stirling won 3-0. Comfortably. Broadfoot was 2nd best all game to the big number 9 up front for the Uni (alas, I don't know any of their names).

So if Broadfoot could be considered Championship level then that lad would be worth a punt. And he wasn't their best player on that day.

The two big uni strikers were a right handful on Wednesday night was impressed with them both.

    Surely not - that’s awful.

Heard him 10 mins in telling him he’s got 2mins to get back behind the ball or else then got slaven to warm ups. Dont know why he’s obsessed with 11 men behind the ball

  5. The hunger and desire has disappeared from the lads. Never seen so many half hearted challenges last night only love and davo getting stuck in. We lost 85% of 50/50s 85% of headers. We are weak and lazy now it’s terrible to watch. 15 of us at hospitality on Saturday I wont be shy to voice my opinion in the correct manner of course.

  6. Well that was eye bleeding stuff a complete waste of a Wednesday night. We can’t do the basics it’s embarrassing how hard is it to win a header we don’t even leave the ground, throw a ball to a boys feet, goal side, win the seconds it was dreadful tonight. Maurice has lost the plot well and truly he is as fed up as the fans are. Kicked the dugout with 10 mins to go in frustration. Why with 5 to go and 1-0 down we have 11 bodies behind the ball I was shocked. Why when they have a thrown in down by our goals Maurice has asked the strikers to come in what then happens we clear it with no one up top. Heard a few shouts in the stands and someone confronting Maurice that his times up. Davo only positive for me. Send that dundee utd boy back to them waste of a loan. New boy ritchie couldn’t believe he got the 90 is struthers carrying a knock surely.

  7. New signing announced at 8pm tonight. If its the name i’ve heard i’m on the fence and will judge when I see him. Was a great player just not to sure what he has left in the tank. And his previous club he was on a pretty wage. That’s only if it is who I’m thinking of.

  8. Passed through our midfield far to easy. Bu defence won’t have an easier half than they did in the second. A player like jones is what would be ideal for us links the back to front well not scared to take players on. Bizarre from jamie todd during the boness celebration giving it the get it up you to us can’t remember us shouting a bad word towards him🤣 rattled me though give him that.

Finally made an account on here as I knew folk would blame either side for him. If it’s the guy who was shouting abuse on the terracing he was in the high street with an east fife top on before the game.

He’s a dick but doesn’t belong to either set of fans

Had a west ham jacket on so say’s it all😂
