Anyone know what concomitant means?
I think he played centre half for Red Star Belgrade in the early nineties.

100% chuffed. Best possible outcome. " Hey Deek, you can be Aberdeen or Rangers manager, which will you go for?"
" Dandies min".

That BBC is worth the licence fee.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, yes he's done a great job stabilising Aberdeen and making them consistently the second best team in Scotland but at the same time he has been found wanting in the big games almost every time. Maybe that is just his level.
This should be an exciting time for Dons fans, the club are stable on and off thepitch now and in a good place to attract a better calibre of manager than they usually hire. There are good options out there who may be able to maintain second place but also take the club forward both domestically and in Europe. £1m will certainly help them if compo is required on a new appointment. Some of us like the misery.

I 100% agree regarding sleep pattern. I have periods of insomnia were I cannot sleep at night and only snatch a couple of hours of poor quality sleep here and there. My mental during such times is terrible and that is when most of my horrible thoughts occur. However, on the rare occasion that I manage to get a peaceful night of sleep I feel good during the day.
Good sleep habits are underrated when it comes to mental health. It can make a big difference.
Agree strongly with the above. Insomnia is probably the worst symptom I get. In the middle of the night I can get really panicked and I also get horrible thoughts. There are plenty of good strategies to help get to sleep mind. Careful with meds though, both scripts and selfies. They will lead to worse problems more often than not.

Weasel words. You could have put an end to any speculation once and for all. As it is, I can't see you being in the stands beyond next week. I fully expect an equally lightweight non-denial denial on your behalf from @Div

I do it but I'll be in the pub at lunch time before the supporters club bus leaves.
If you stick to pints you should still be ok.

Could get you a really good seat if you want? One for you an a mate, pitch side, excellent views.
Probably even arrange a visit to the dressing room before the match.
There may well be interest, that's for others to talk about. I can't and wont comment on speculation.
I am happy to sit in the stand, I love sitting in the stand and I am committed to sitting in the stand. I have unfinished business in the stand.

Surely to f**k Milne and McInnes had a conversation about this prior to the public statement saying he was committed to Aberdeen?
"Derek, if Rangers come in for you, will you want to go? "
Someone has broken their word here.

As I have said over on the other thread...the 'nonsense' exists in the febrile minds of the diddies. We've gone about our business professionally and 6 points gained over this past week proves that. If DM has had his 'mind elsewhere' that simply proves he's not the manager for us and I'm sure he'll agree when he emerges from Murty's back pocket.
So the result of Rangers going about their business professionally since sacking your previous manager is to make an approach for the wrong man for the job?6 -

McInnes needs to speak out now that it’s no longer merely speculation.
That would be nice.

£1,100,000.00 is the compensation figure according to completely unsubstantiated twittering.

Imagine if McInnes took out a Wonga loan to buy out his own contract.
How Sevco would that be?
I just noticed your avatar.

I'm not so sure. He could resign on a matter of principle, because Aberdeen refused to let him talk to Rangers.
Aye but he is under contract. He can't just walk away from it.

If McInnes resigns he will have to buy out his own contract.

Whats the deal with this? Can Aberdeen flat out stonewall them or can they force the issue by meeting compensation o contract rekease clauses? is there a standard procedure ?

ok. Lets see how this pans out.

Another snide anti-AFC rant from Boyd tonight.
I think he’s trying to perfect his “controversial pundit” act on us before he ever gets brave enough to similarly let rip on one of the bigot brothers.I can guess which one it will be.
Brother Boyd, still staunch as f**k.

I have it on VERY good authority that if Derek goes, Paul Sheerin will be given the role as caretaker on an indefinite period.

Never has a post been more correct about Milne and our board generally. The last few weeks has been handled badly by the club and the whole thing has a feel that the club are happy to settle with mediocrity.
Milne openly stated how much he wanted Rangers in the league and he's happy to stay behind them in perpetuity. The board are happy building a stadium on the edge of town when it's clear that the club should remain in the city. We've already made substantial compromises with the design to appease a group of nimbys who never would be appeased.
Meanwhile the enthusiasm from the fans has waned as summer signings have failed and the manager has had his head turned twice in under 6 months.
The club is at a crossroads with the stadium and the manager. Do I trust the board generally to get the decisions correct that will shape both the short and very long run of this club? No, I do not. What is the alternative? Who better to come in? I'm not looking to argue, rather discuss what else can be done to make the team more successful.

Funny how you miss Calderwood, who drove fans away in masses, but is revered by some for playing a Europa group like they were home and away.
Milne got his stake in Aberdeen by writing off dicks erection.
Milne is not to blame for all of our problems but he is certainly culpable for more than other supports would have tolerated.
I miss Chris Anderson's visionCalderwood had us mediocre. He was meh. I don't think I have ever heard anyone revere JC.
I miss Willie Miller's composed defending, but I don't think its relevant to how the club is doing now.

Yes but its a stadium which Milne has been trying to deliver for nearly two decades. We're not going to agree but Milne's tenure has been littered with poor decisions, the appointment of McInnes was an exception.
Changing the Pittodrie pie from a scotch pie to that real mince ones was a shite decision right enough.
Never mind it would be boring if we always agreed about everything.
