Yeah any academy prospects coming through just now are nowhere near Forrest, McCowan and Crawford. Ecrepont IMO has been very harshly treated with not getting a pop at LB position this season as Reading is woeful with no competition for his position which has caused his mediocre performances. Bryden has been the biggest disappointment IMO, not kicked on from last season apart from one decent goal at Cove which was actually on his weaker foot, not sure too why McKenzie has played so little 2nd half of the season as it was him up to with Dipo 1st half of the season we were most dangerous.

Was very good first half of the season but like the whole team pretty much has turned to very average 2nd half of the season

And as i said, McKenzie, Bryden, JML, Ashford, how many goals and assists have they provided this season, highly doubt it's anymore than single figures which without Dipo/Mullin/Chalmers that's who we would have been relying on. Those 3 carried us the first half of the season.

Don't get personally the anti-maguire, maybe lost his shooting boots but still has passes and vision in him which nobody else in the team does. Plus he's provided more than likes of JML, Ashford and even Bryden to a certain extent who have been here all season.

Depends how ambitious we want to be to achieve "something special" Pretty sure Mathie and Ross had a crossover period together while working at Hibs too so there's an immediate connection straightaway

If there's any slight doubt we can't make the same mistake we did with McCall at May 2019, begged him to stay and he then fucked off a month into the start of the new season in September 2019. If he isn't 100% get someone in to build their own team during the summer, my gut feeling though is regardless of what happens i'd be surprised if Bullen isn't here next season. I personally think he'll struggle to see it out however as next season could potentially have Ross County, Inverness, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Partick and Kilmarnock who i'm all expecting to be way ahead of us as they'll blow us out the water in terms of wages for players so we'll have to take gambles on down south which as we've seen for every gem we get we seem to also get a couple of jobbers
