Aye I know, just wanted to join in winding up Aberdonians.
You wanted to join the angry Morton fan and the Hearts fan in the bitterness club. Shame on you.

One thing that I'm not totally sure of is the reason that the anonymity afforded to the culprit in this case isn't extended to all prior to receiving a verdict. In the world of immersive media that we live in, there doesn't seem anyway that a jury could feasibly isolate themselves from the conjecture and assumption that follows the news of someone being questioned in a murder - particularly one more emotionally resonating like this tragic case.
Recently, ITV news broadcasted an interview with the Mother of a man held on suspicion of murder prior to charge - which is obviously an extreme example of what I'm talking about, but nevertheless makes me extremely uncomfortable.
The "no smoke without fire" mindset that exists in a huge proportion of the public is fed by these tidbits of information dripfed to the press, not to mention the possibility of anything received being exaggerated in an attempt to fill the pre-requisite 24 hours of daily broadcast from news channels.
I totally agree.0 -

Please do. I can't say I've ever seen anyone wearing a non-Hearts top in the home end in all my years of attending matches at Tynecastle.
Everyone at Tynecastle wears replica tops?

I remember going to an Inverness CT game and there was a fan in the home end wearing a Rangers top. Hope that helps.
Let's not start on the home end at Tynecastle, eh?

Posted it in this thread before but there's a special place in hell for the guy I came across who gave his kids an ipad to watch some shit on full blast for the whole carriage to listen to whilst he put his earphones in and listened to music.

When was the last time a first team regular left it this late to sign a contract and actually signed with the club? Have to imagine the vast majority who leave it this long are just biding their time and will only re-sign if the offers aren't there.
Not that i'm blaming anyone for looking out for their career but it shouldn't really drag on for this late in the season.
Kenny Mclean set the standard on this to be fair.

But yous did play better than you did in the home leg.
There's been a gross misunderstanding here, and it will result in us falling out.

A lot of bitterness towards Aberdeen on this thread.
Sad, very sad.

I might submit myself to the Heads Gone thread if I see another Rangers fan defend the indefensible with some laughable comment about coverage of Celtic, or the fact Killie lost or something else ludicrous.

I didn't think they looked too bad in parts last night, given they were down to 10 (caveat that it was on in the gym and I only had one eye on it).
Damage was done in 1st leg.

What an awful, awful story.
Don't understand the desire to have the boy named, he's clearly sick in the head. I hope we never hear of the little c**t ever again.

Years ago I would have agreed with you, but it's like anything - once in a habit you're fine. I'm kidding about people being feckless wasters, but again it's all about habit. If someone's stuck in the habit of hitting snooze 20 times they'll continue doing so. But it's really not good for your sleep or your mood in the morning.
Spot on!
My alarm goes at 6 and by 7 I've walked the dog, had breakfast and made lunch for the day. Might start getting up earlier so I can incorporate gym pre-work into that. As you say, its all about habit.

Celtic's attendances dropped the 4 years Rangers were out the top flight. There's a direct correlation. To state otherwise is moronic.
The absolute state of denial is quite astounding.

I liked the books and films, and kind of liked the series initially.
I liked that they focused on the part of the story that the books don't cover - the part leading up to Lecter's initial imprisonment.
But they get it all wrong, imo - changing names and even genders of characters, forcing great lines from the books like 'perception is a tool that's pointed on both ends', etc, into scenes where they don't belong or necessarily even fit - trying to make every line deep and profound with po-faced deliveries - the lovely Gillian Anderson is actually probably worse than Mads for that now that I think about it.
The worst crime is shoehorning this mad homoerotic obsession between two of the main characters. making it look like they're massively gay for each other, when there was never the slightest suggestion of this in the books.
Very stylish and glossy, but ultimately just annoying.
Totally agree on the relationship between the two. Found it very strange and quite out of place.1 -
It’s a nap to The Grass Is Greener. or is it The Grass Is Greener?
Mods, get this c**t emptied for using multiple accounts and bringing the site into disrepute
Please don’t drag me into your weird little obsession with him0 -
Who is this Mediocre Hat Stand fella?
He's been red dotting my posts all the way back to 2015 because I called him silly.

Now we've sorted that little skirmish and now that we all agree that Mr Robertson's interview yesterday was entirely innocuous shall we look at tomorrow's Scottish Cup tie with Killy?
My take is that Davis, Lafferty and Defoe should never play for us again.
I'd go with a front 3 of Candeias, Middleton and Kent.
Not that surprised on Defoe, despite his goal he looked a bit off the pace at pittodrie and other times I’ve seen him. Of course, if you give him a chance like at pittodrie he’ll take it 99 times out of 100.
Lafferty has never been a very good footballer and always felt like a panic/relatively cheap signing as backup for you. Think hearts fans would tell you that he could be utter shite on his day.
Haven’t seen Davis play probably since his first time round at rangers so no comment.
Will be watching with interest tonight. Big opportunity for whoever is last man standing of dons, killie or rangers.0

I knew you weren't bitter like the rest of them mixu. The East coast minus the gorgie loyal are a more enlightened bunch.
