  1. Andy Murray on the lookout for a new coach. Best I could manage for available coaches was the lists below and no doubt he'll pick someone not on either. https://www.atptour.com/en/players/coaches https://www.wtatennis.com/coaches/list
  2. Hewitt played RB when the 1st team played a friendly against BSC Glasgow in March 2019 at Alloa. He then made the bench for the last league game with Alloa and the home play-off with Inverness. For the 19/20 season he went out on loan to Kilwinning and then Annan. I think going forward he's probably suited to RM in a 4 man midfield or RCM in a 3.
  3. He followed the club on twitter about an hour ago so I imagine he's either doing press or his signing is in a long queue currently being processed and the club won't announce it officially until that's happened. I notice since Mathie arrived that VoR seems to let the club announce more stuff in exchange for interviews.
  4. Not that I want Fjortoft to go but if he is I'd rather it doesn't drag on as not a lot of options domestically at CB. Choices most likely would be Michael Devlin returning from injury or youngsters like Leon King (if Souttar signed) or Dane Murray. Comley can sign for a club anytime, we'd probably need international clearance as the FA will still hold his registration but that's all.
  5. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/celtic-player-set-transfer-deadline-26100108 McInroy not returning to Airdrie as he's joining a Championship team #Imminent
  6. Not sure but Mr McInroy maybe thinks so. Out of contract in the summer so send Afolabi up with some cash. Seems a fair exchange.
  7. Wouldn't be surprised if Kerr McInroy turns up at some point (if he doesn't return to Airdrie).
  8. Based on Bullen wanting to play out from the back I'd think CB. As a natural RB hopefully he's decent on the ball and be similar to Ndaba ability wise.
  9. Would be surprised if anything in this as Rowe is a RB who can play CB but suppose he could replace McAllister in the squad. Coventry U23's do play in the same league as Sheff Wed's team and this agent had previously followed Dunfermline who signed a player on loan from Leeds that he represents so maybe a similar pattern.
  10. Not been in the last 3 squads but played for them on the 8th January. Don't see anything online that says he's left since though. ttps://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59844505
  11. I'm not sure as I imagine a deal like this would be in the works longer than today. A lot will depend on the Afolabi situation as we'd need another forward if he went, although it has went quiet on that front recently so assume he's staying.
  12. Out of contract in the summer so might be similar to Dempsey in that we'll offer to make it permanent if he impresses. Decent age and enough 1st team experience so hopefully it goes well. Rather take a few risks like this than take the usual suspects up here every summer.
  13. Unless he, his father and agent have all become Ayr fans today... I wonder if they'll keep the imminent until tomorrow.
  14. Maybe even a defender or midfield who is represented by First Access Sports too.
  15. After investigation by Twitter I've decided this is our next signing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Ashford
  16. These guy seem to represent some English non-league jobbers and also followed the club on Twitter today.
  17. It's too soon to tell about Gondon and jury is still out on O'Connor although personally I'd like to see how he does on the right hand side. Also depends what formation Bullen favours as If we went 4-3-3 then other than those 2 the only other option is McKenzie, as in that formation Maxwell would be more suited to LCM. Wouldn't be a disaster if we didn't get him but I do think he'd add something different to the squad.
  18. Appere would either be coming to play wide in a front 3 or in a similar role to Bradley played in behind Adeloye. His main job would be to create chances and if he chipped in with 4 or 5 it would be a bonus.
  19. Would be surprised if Shields left Motherwell especially since it didn't sound like Watt will be replaced. Lee Erwin is a more realistic shout given he seems to sit on St Mirren's bench and never plays. Also with Hendry back at St Johnstone I assume Stevie May will be further down the pecking order. Although he's seemingly on decent money and I'm only suggesting him due to the Sheff Wed link as I doubt we could afford him and if we did he'd probably end up being another Sean Higgins. Wheres the Dorrans link? I'd be surprised to see him go as Yogi rates him as the best player in the league but I'd not be arsed if he did leave. Preferably not to fellow relegation candidates, right enough. Apparently we were signing a midfielder that everyone would know and that's when Dorrans name came up. Some people have since decided that the player in question was Liam Craig although I'm not sure if that was confirmed. Essentially nothing in it.
  20. Wouldn't read much into that as it's the equivalent of Joe Chalmers signing and saying he knows Andy Murdoch from playing against him. Even the Adeloye and Gondoh partnership has been made out to be more than it is as they haven't played together before now. I think to go 4-3-3 we'd need another more attacking CM in as looking at Dempsey's stats he doesn't seem like a goal scoring midfield. Hopefully a left footed CB and a ST are next on the list.
  21. Technically it's one out since Bradley is away since the window opened. Also despite him not being good, with Salkeld confirmed this month as out for the season that's another body we're down (suppose some may count Bryden as an extra player but it's still not a signing). That's a couple of times now Bullen's spoke about wanting player turnover to be low going forward to allow the club to implement a philosophy / game model which is a concern as the club needs a hard reset in the summer.
  22. Might explain why Adeloye has had so many clubs if he's as petulant as this week suggests. I like him and considering the formation and the fact I don't think he's a natural number 9 his goal tally is impressive. However, although he is the best forward currently at the club, no player is bigger than the club and if he's genuinely liked that tweet a few pages back then it says more about his fragile ego than anything. I think the alarm bells were ringing as soon as it was reported we were only looking at 2 or 3 players as it suggested Mathie etc. either didn't understand the many issues this squad has and the challenge faced or that the players fooled him with the Raith performance into thinking Duffy was the only issue.
  23. Wouldn't be surprised if Murray decides to skip the clay altogether. Even in the good old days it wasn't a surface that was kind to his body and realistically it's the Slam that he's least likely to go far in especially if he gets pushed to 5 sets.
  24. Rob Harker. After the AP said in August we weren't getting anyone on loan, he injured his knee the following week and hasn't played since. Based on my FM save Lewis Richardson or Michael Mellon would be better options than him anyway.
