  1. McGlynn looking to rest players this weekend according to FFP.
  2. Cranes best position has been centre midfield, for however brief a period that was. He's probably not even a left back...
  3. Haha. I'll give him a pass just now. I want to see what he does in the summer.
  4. Keep: Thomson, Murray, McKay, Dingwall, Gillespie, Vaughan, Nisbet, Matthews. I'd keep all the young lads too as they've all showed something when I've seen them, as infrequent as that's been. Loanees: Of the loanees, I'd like to see us try and get Reagan Hendry back, and maybe Gullan. The others I'm not fussed for. Crane has been a massive disappointment. For a full back, he can't cross a ball nor can he defend. Undecided: Wedderburn (good strength and passing but canni run), Buchanan (feel like he's come onto this season, amazing first touch but think his best days are passed now). Benedictus (preferred over Davo but can be awfully reckless, i.e. why he's been out injured). Lyness (not seen a lot of him but not really been convinced by him when he's played). Punt: Can punt the rest. Flanagan has been a big disappointment, absolutely powderpuff, (I know he's contracted but I'd move him on). Duggan hasn't shown a lot, aside from a great performance against The Townies. Don't think that merits him staying but I have a feeling we'll be seeing him within our ranks next season. Davo has had some great games but he's also had some absolute nightmares. I think it's time he retired. Oldest on the pitch but the biggest cry baby. Have I missed anyone?
  5. This. I can't stress enough how much we've missed his presence in the middle. He's got that bite we need in the middle and never shirks a tackle. Would much rather have him on than Barjonas, who I think has flattered to deceive. To me, he's belted in a screamer in his first game and that's it. I've missed a few games through illness though, so enlighten me if he's impressed in other games.
  6. How long has he been with us? Am I right in thinking he was in the youth setup with Lewis and Ross C?
  7. His performance last weekend reminded me of the time he bodied Scott Brown in that cup game. Candidate for Captain one day. I hope he stays for quite some time. Good laddie.
  8. Matthews for me. He was brilliant all over the place. Buchanan and Gillespie were both standouts for me too.
  9. Matt elder on Twitter saying two new signings are hopefully going to be completed this evening.
  10. In other news, Johnny Court scored for the wid tinks along the road today.
  11. Apparently they've first dibs on him should he return to Scotland as a player. I reckon he'll retire after being at, eh, Bali United?
  12. Holy Christ, you're right! That absolutely describes him beautifully. If you imagine him turning his run (obviously already offside), but his legs being replaced with a wee speedboat... I'm no even sure if he moves his arms when running which makes it even funnier. p.s. it's a slow day at work...
  13. I'm glad he is. I reckon he should be a starter. Seen so much promise in him when Callachan was playing too. Why he gets put on the wing absolutely baffles me though.
  14. I'd definitely have Spence over Buchanan. I wouldn't say he's more technically gifted, or even a better player, than Buchanan but I think he works a little bit harder and his hold up play is definitely much better. There's more chance of Spence heading a ball too. In saying that, did Buchanan not get one or two headed goals last season? I'd give my right leg to have the McKinnon team of 2 seasons ago back. And McKinnon. Do we think there will be more to follow today or will we likely be kept in the dark until the end of May/after the play off finals are done?
