Start again. Recruiting a capable management team probably involves looking wider than Scotland for a management team. Including the DoF role. Not heard any suggestions about new managers that seem right to me. Rawlins are going to need to pony up a lot of cash to replace a whole squad, and management team as well as board level bein strengthened, super fan and shed man bought out. That’s literally what we are looking at to turn this around.

Seriously though agree that Morrison and Much are ones to keep a hold of but even Telfer I think has had definite periods with us where I thought he was a waste of space. the fact Gary Miller is our captain speaks volumes for the quality we have in the squad imo.

I didn’t take to him at first, but he has defo been one of the more consistent players this season and was always popping up with smart positing despite his age / pace.

Don’t these tables show we’ve improve slightly from last 8 to looking only at last 6 games? All that matters is points on the board, of which we have most and everyone played same amount of games. We also have the best GD. If anything I think whilst yesterday was rubbish we have a better squad now that we did at the start of season with the young guys in. We can defo still win this. And no team in the league scares me at all in terms of facing them to get full points. The quality in this league, including us, is fucking awful.

You lot do realise that we are exactly where we deserve to be? No one will remember loosing to Airdrie if we win the league, which is still very much possible and in our own hands. The very managers and players you’re all having a pop at got there, so there’s a chance they can stay there. As far the whole ‘if your aunty had baws’ normal season stuff as well, what’s the point in that? We got a shorter season just deal with it.

For me I tend to think back a gloss what was exciting as better quality. I think of Sir Bob McShug as a hero as it was exciting. same with Farid. Same with Sibbs Same to an extent back to the Hagen / Crunchie / Yogi days.... Darren Barr looked like a fucking hero when he played for us. Won me money when he scored in cup final for hertz but don’t recall him doing f**k all to be noticed after he left. so for me I’d always view those exciting players more fondly even when they were in average teams and we weren’t doing well generally.

Normally neither side can do PPV if it’s selected by a broadcaster so probably missing out there! Central Pot is for league money surely? No one knows where teams will place in the cup so would seem mental to me that you could get the semis or final and not have any TV money cause it was paid out through the leagues? Unless the Scottish cup TV deal funds the prize money? but then it’s Scottish fitba we are talking about so anything is possible!
