  1. Anyone know how you sign up to watch the Motherwell game online? I used the link provided by Queens website and registered but when I came to sign up for the game it only gives a yearly (£70) and monthly (£6.99) subscription option. Queens website says the game is £10. Also means I have to remember to cancel subscription after the game. Thanks in advance.
  2. I’m assuming Paul McKay is injured? Also what has happened to Ally Roy? Scored in our defeat in first friendly at Annan but hasn’t played since and not listed in the squad on the website.
  3. I thought the number 3 looked ok as did broadfoot without being spectacular . The no11 looks big and strong but drifted in and out of the game. Paton looked good first half and Connolly had a decent game. Gibson probably our best player. McMahon came on for last 10/15 minutes or so and looked like a busy wee player.
  4. Re-signs. Apologies for such an error. What was I thinking. A basic error that seems life changing to some.
  5. Charlie Cowie another of youth’s signs on for the new season
  6. next 2 rounds of the cup just been drawn Stranraer v Queens/Hibs quarters Stranraer/Queens/Hibs v Motherwell/Morton other potential highlight of the next round Rangers/Cove Rangers v Celtic
  7. I may be wrong but depending on how far away some of the injured players are, we are missing 7 first team players for the next game or two. Dobbie,McKee,Pybus,Jones, Nortey, Obilaye, McCabe add to that the distinct possibility we will lose Mebude soon. on a positive note I think our good run started when we were down to the bear minimum around about Christmas before the January transfers arrived. we are a few points ahead of 6th so if we can grind out some results and other results go our way over the next 2/3 games (I know one of them is against Hearts) and start getting players then we may be safe. As Rjc 1988 says it’s a chance for younger fringe players to show if they can step up,
  8. Brilliant result with 5 first team players missing. Strange league, a few games ago we were 2nd bottom despite a good run now if we beat Dundee on Saturday we go 4th
  9. In the last 5 league games we are the form team with only Dundee having more points from their last five games 11pts. We have amassed 10 pts which having been 2 0 up against Arbroath could have been 12.
  10. What do we do to our Goalkeepers in training, Leighfield, Cowie and Armstrong all injured. Emergency loan signing from Livingston for a week on the bench. Dobbie and Buchanan also out injured
  11. I’m not sure how credit the management team should get for the turnaround. AJ liked to tinker with the starting line up and positioning then all of a sudden before the Raith game we found ourselves with a number of injuries and starting 11 almost picked. Itself. Let’s hope when players come back to full fitness he doesn’t start tinkering again to much.
  12. Am I missing something? Do most goals in all divisions not come from crosses of some kind. What is the fixation with it? Every team losses goals from crosses, even Celtic lost a goal from cross. Yes it is probably something we can work on. for a team thrown together apart from the first 12 minutes I thought we were as good as if not better than Ayr. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think we will be pushing for promotion but it’s not all doom and gloom.
  13. Trying to be positive. No way last season could we have made so many changes and still have drawn the game and still unbeaten.
  14. Lost but looks promising. Think they scored with only shot they had. Buchanan and Obilaye looked comfortably and liked Maxwell and the trialist RB.
  15. Although 1 0 down at half time. Think we have been decent enough. Pretty even game. RB likes getting forward. Maxwell looks ok at LB.

  17. Dunfermline lose last 2 games, Queens lose to RC and beat Partick, Alloa win 2 lose 1 and Partick draw with Ayr and lose to Queens Dunfermline, Queens, Partick and Alloa all finish with 41 points. On the outside chance Falkirk beat Dundee Utd and RC they also finish with 41 points
