Using the cup run as some sort of achievement when we huffed and puffed past Pollok, and Elgin beat Cove then fcked it v Falkirk. Wasn't like we beat the OF then the DKBs, we were playing nobodies

Was it by Desmond Boyd?
If not you can just disregard it as nonsense.
Just went back to check and it was actually on that Ayr worldwide fans page. A Barry Cowan. No idea who he is

Someone on the SRE page saying McGeady was causing a bit of unrest in the dressing room. No idea if it's shite or not, but he does give the impression he's above us

I'm even more convinced Bullen, Smith, Mathie, Provan etc must scour this forum. The only real negative posts I seen were on here, and even at that they were tame compared to the "good ol' days" of manager GTF chants

You realise the club will have leaked it to VOR on the assumption he will have announced it last night.
People losing their minds over this on Facebook and I can’t understand it.
Quite possibly, but my question would be why? Why not just announce it officially last night or wait until today and go through the "proper" outlets first? It's not like we require the media team to be working at the office to post things.

Tuneeeee. If the club don't play it over the tannoy on Saturday they've missed a trick

What a wild 24 hrs. The VOR leaking it before the club announced it, the big bad Ayr fans headlines, and some of the names being mentioned to take over all happening on "Blue Monday" as well. Some laugh

You know you've made the bin fire of shit shows when the main football section of the BBC website is saying it was "vile abuse" of Bullen and the club condemning it.
I don't go to away games all that often but go to all the home games and I never heard anything untoward or OTT beyond regular football chants. Seems to me that the club are deflecting failures of Mathie and Bullen onto the fans and making us all look like knuckle dragging morons

Anyone else getting this adopt a donkey for only £3 a month ad on this page?
Cruel.
I've been getting the Traitors add since about Christmas. Donkeys and Traitors, someone must know something about Ayr

They’re not going to actively seek the guy’s replacement while he’s still in a job. If he’d went out and won comfortably yesterday, would we just tell the new guy he’s no longer required? Come on now.
I'm sure rangers did it when they wanted GVB away. Brought wheeler dealer Beale up to be a guest in the directors box iirc . Fitba owners/GM are like chess players, always one step ahead of the game

Seems to be a done deal if places like the Daily Record are reporting it

Not sure what McGeady has done to warrant even being mentioned in a caretaker role. Absolute no coaching experience other than coaching "badges" that I'm aware of. Just because he played internationally and in the English Prem, doesn't mean hes suited for a Championship level gig right now

We fall off a cliff after Christmas every year
Aye. That season with McCall and Shankland. It was a Dec game and I'm sure we were 3-0 up v Ross County at home and ended up drawing. We were never the same after that and I knew then I'd probably never see us in the top flight unless there is league reconstruction. It's shite being an Ayr fan

From second top of the same division last season to second bottom with relegation a strong possibility. Can't remember seeing this sort of slide often and most other teams don't wait until a rock bottom collapse before making changes. Fans still defending this is mind blowing
Let's be honest, we fell off a cliff after Christmas last year. It was some otherwordly miracle we finished 2nd which gave Bullen some leeway. No pun intended
We were at one point 5th with 10 mins or so remaining in that last game. 2nd pappered very apparent cracks. Our home form has been shite for well over a year, even Cup wins v Pollok and Elgin were grim. Last season gave Bullen, Smith and Mathie an inflated sense of achievement...swiftly found out v Partick in the play offs and mostly ever since

Kelty next week is the perfect opportunity for supporters to vote with their feet
It should be, but we will all go along and apathy will prevail.

The only thing to save Bullen's bacon is an "easy" home Cup tie and then the cast of Casualty at home. Papers over the cracks and he'll still be here in Feb imo

When it comes to football side of things he doesn't have a clue
Aye, I'd go as far as to say the guy is a fraud.

I kind of wish the Arbroath game was on Tuesday rather than a week on Tuesday. Folk may well still be angry on Tuesday
Kelty won’t be on the season ticket and we’ll no doubt go in to it without the loan players, Bullen will play fringe players like he always does in the cups and we won’t have any new players in to bump the crowd.
I doubt if the crowd will break 1000
Free tickets for schools and a deal for youngsters sports teams will bump the attendance figure up. They're business smart

QP getting the "new manager bounce". We will be saved due to Arbroath almost having to resort to playing two men, a dug. Nothing Bullen or this squad of wasters does
1 -
Awk well, we do it all again v Arbroath in 10 days or so.

We are 1/1 on Bet365 to win. Surely worth a punt! Hoping the old adage of a fool and their money... isn't true

Checking the weather for the next week. Could be a few nights of hard frost. I'm at the stage where I don't care if games are called off. Sad times to be so apathetic regarding the Super

I'm almost at the stage of that's enough internet for tonight. The smarmy, narcissistic platitudes, deflecting from their own failures. Propaganda masters and it's nauseating.
