  1. Scrap the pyramid.

The thought of a good, honest league club like Stranraer losing their league status to a vanity project/glorified sports club and B team voter who have cruised into the final because some diddy, teuchter mob prefer being a big fish in a small pond is sickening.

    Close the door.

I think the last few weeks, especially since Ryan Wallace left, he's stepped up and started to perform more consistently. If I'm honest, I reckon he'd have been released at end of season if his form hadn't improved.

Considering Farrell hands out contracts like sweeties he probably would’ve stayed, regardless of his recent upturn in form.

  3. Gallagher was a victim of being severely misused by Aitken. As soon as we played him as a striker he started banging them in and actually didn’t match that season’s tally until his 3rd season with Ayr.

He’s an excellent lower league striker and it’s criminal we spent 2 and a half seasons playing him out wide.

  4. That’s a very good 3 points in what was horrid conditions. I thought we dealt with Clyde well in the first half and we looked a lot more dangerous than they did with the wind at our backs.

For a team fighting for their lives I found Clyde’s 2nd half tactics bizarre. The weather was obviously brutal but they were quite literally camped in their own half the entire 2nd half and the goalie got booked for time wasting after 57 minutes. Even with the wind at your back defending can be dodgy so surely to god you at least have a bit of a go. They got what they deserved in the end.

I can't wait until the second half where he punts it straight out repeatedly just to balance it out

This is exactly what I’m thinking will happen.

We’ve done very well to go in at 0-0 playing into that wind and we even had a few semi decent chances to score. Some of our players are seriously struggling to adapt - Hogarth with his punts straight into the air and Lennon with his constant cross field rakers that are just dying in the air and causing us all sorts of bother.

Shoot on sight in the second half please Sons.

Yeah watching the way Scheffler and Schauffele got round compared to McIlroy should be a reality check for him.

Like you I can't see him winning another major anywhere, let alone at the Masters.

I don’t think we’ll see him winning at Augusta but I’d fancy him for another Open. The clock is ticking mind you.

  7. Meronk who is usually one of the most consistent players on the European Tour has had an utter nightmare the last 2 days. I wonder if it has just been an off week or if it’s a bit of rust from playing on that daft ‘growing the game’ tour.

Will this actually go ahead? Looks like it’s raining all of today.

Was dry all of yesterday and it has only started raining here in the last five minutes. The Met Office forecast doesn’t look too bad tbh. It’s to be extremely windy around kick off time so that may cause some issues.

The guys has admitted guilt. I like your commitment to your mate, but all accept he’s been out of order in some shape or form

I wonder if the Trust will set up a live stream for him to tune into the AGM which he can’t attend due to his stadium ban.
