  1. A 4 way battle between Schauffele, Clark, Harman and Scheffler is probably the last thing I wanted so if Theegala or Fitz could make a move that would be lovely. Plenty of opportunity to make a complete arse of some of these holes so fingers crossed ‘cause I’ll be in it for the long run tonight!

I may be in the minority here but I really struggle with Sky's coverage in general.  Far too many ad breaks, and a lot of annoying commentators.  Dame Laura is at least cheerful and does add the odd insight, but Ewen Murray is bad - tends to sound pretty bored, aaaaaaaand randomly lengthens words for no reason. McGinley is unbearable - a wittering blowhard who is obsessed with Rory. Nick Dougherty is an irritating lightweight, and even Coltart doesn't add much for me even though he's Scottish. The banter with the co-comms about him being rubbish is getting really tedious. I quite like Beem and Henni though - he does the old grump role better than Murray (and has actually been there and done it on tour and won a major) and she is fine to listen to and knowledgable; tends to be more focused on the action than Coltart et al. too.

Delighted to see Wyndham "Personality" Clark dump it in the water on 17 so far short of the green - an absolutely terrible shot. I'm amazed his caddy's practice putting strokes with a wedge on the green is allowed - that must be at the limit of slow play p1ss-taking, worse even than Aimpoint.

Hard to disagree with this. Not to mention it’s the same fucking adverts during every single break. During the Ryder Cup we had the annoying dandruff advert and for this tournament it’s the Gillette advert with the cheesy sounding 90’s action rock song. My good lady has been absolutely cracking up

In stark contrast, I've just read about an episode at New Dungheap Park in which Clyde's Scullion was spat on by someone in the home support and (understandably but very foolishly) decided to respond in kind.

So if you prefer your fitba loutish or skinny latte, League Two has something for you folks.

And here it is in all it’s glory…

Murray and "Dame" laura are hard work for me.

I’m with you. I think Davies comes across as a real dinosaur these days.

I’m really hoping one of the -8 or -9 crew can have a real run at it tomorrow if Clark, Harman or Schauffele have a slow start. Joel Dahmen is having a great week, I’d love to see him go low tomorrow.

Hennie Koyack adds nothing to this coverage

I really don’t get the hate, I think she’s been an excellent addition this weekend.

  6. Flinging a guy straight into the team who hasn’t kicked a ball for a year is a weird move. He’s been on the bench for our last 3 games and hasn’t been given a single minute of football to build up some fitness. One of those games was completely done by half time.

f**k knows who’ll be playing on the right. f**k knows why we signed the boy from Rangers or Healy if neither of them are a better option in that position than a central midfielder.

Oh nice try at deflecting the facts, but that won’t wash. By letting the B team rent your stadium your club were facilitating a b team. I am sure if Rangers hadn’t thrown their toys out the pram and withdrawn from the LL they would still be there, as you seem to need a tenant to make ends meet.  I’m sure you bleated and moaned on the internet about it, but hey, money is money

Lets talk about the numerous old firm youngsters you have had over the years, including 2 I think at present from, Rangers? No doubt at a very cheap or no cost to your club.   Common at many clubs at your level of course, especially in the west of Scotland, but an undeniable fact it’s a nice wee deal for your club.

So one way or another, your club is certainly taking the old firm boaby, in a number of different positions it would seem.

If it makes you feel better about your own pathetic club’s decision then you keep believing that us loaning players or renting them our stadium is the same as voting them into our national league system for a quick buck. Loan deals don’t always come cheap and are never at “no cost” to a club unless you have some sort of agreed affiliation, which pretty much confirms you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Cowdenbeath and the rest of the pathetic Lowland League B team voters = Scotland’s shame. Off you pop back to the B team league forum.

Please lord don’t let this end up a Scheffler easy win or a shootout between him and Clark.

Just as I say that Scheffler has the physio giving him a massage on the 14 tee

Of course the true tin-pot test is your club's view on whether bumbling B-Teams should be admitted to the league structure.

Spartans! Cowdenbeath! What say you? 😎

Absolutely correct Mr Parr. All this back and forth about stadiums means absolutely nothing when your arse piece is still rid raw from parting your cheeks for B team cash.

He isnt going to. As much as its a really untenable position for a football club chairman to hold, he seems to have an absolute terror of public speaking and will not address the fans directly.

I mean if he is terrified of organising a few paragraphs for the club website then he should probably go and see one of his former colleagues as he clearly needs help. Most of us have come to accept a face to face meeting with fans will never happen but he should be providing the odd update via the website at the very least.

The club very much are looking to have an artificial pitch installed. But it isnt going to happen any time before the 25/26 season.

Dr Dofuckall should probably provide us with an update regarding that then. On the 6th of August 2023 he said the following…

    Quote

We also feel that we need to focus on developing our Castle Road home and the addition of an artificial surface for season 24/25 to ensure our ability to fulfill scheduled fixtures and to provide a valuable resource for the community, encouraging involvement in sport, promoting inclusivity and delivering a tangible health gain for the locality.

Until such times as the police deal with the matter then folk shouldn't be posting or  quoting things that make a bad situation worse. There will be plenty of time to do that when the police do their thing, the club does it's investigation and there's actually something to talk about.

To be fair, it is a big talking point. It’s in the national press and the club are making statements about it, it’s only natural that it will dominate the chat on here. Certain details should be avoided as it’s a police matter but I wouldn’t be expecting people to remain silent about it until it’s all done and dusted.
