  1. We'd be quicker listing his weaknesses, absolutely none. The boy can defend and really excells bombing forward. His crosses are genrally spot on (one that stands out was the 5-1 pumping of Alloa for Kirkpatricks goal, unreal) and he will always give 100%. The talent clearly runs in the family and I have every confidence that he will succeed at Dundee if given the chance. You have signed yourself a fine player and a good guy into the bargain.
  2. Chucking money around? I'm 95% confident Taggart wont be on as much as McGinn. He's probably seen the light and realised he can make more from pt football and ft work. Mind you if the money Mikey Miller is getting is anything to go by then it's certainly not us chucking the cash around.
  3. As shite as it is at least we got some proper news at last.
  4. Ryan Finnie has played very little first team football (minus his spell with us 3 seasons ago) so don't think he's the answer to replacing McGinn. Don't imagine Rangers would be keen to loan to us now were derby rivals and that. I think it will be very hard to replace him but I'm hopeful Murray has something up his sleeve. I'm pretty certain I'm not the only one that knew for certain he wouldn't be a Sons player next season so I'm confident Murray has somethin lined up.
  5. Aye surprised at him going there tbh. Best of luck to him, would go as far as saying he's one of the best players I've seen in a Sons shirt.
  6. Says hee haw about Murray being one of the 4, thankfully. I believe the interviews have been concluded and he's not had one.
  7. I don't know how Grainger was throughout the season but he was woeful against Cowden in the playoffs. Would Rovers fans be happy with him signing?
  8. If Moonster is anything to go by a Sons fans Sunday best usually involves yesterday's boxers, a darkened room and a sick bowl.
  9. How much does hospitality cost at other clubs in the division? Even for a bog standard game against Raith or Livi (no disrespect to them) probably wouldn't be far off that elsewhere.Edit to add - Hospitality is a luxury so it's not really fleecing folk. If they don't want to pay that they can choose a non cat A game to go to. It's not like it's a season ticket where they know folk will pay it regardless (not that I'm against the season ticket increase)
  10. Personally I hope we aim to try and make as much as possible out of Rangers and co being in the league. I'd imagine the prices will be hiked for hospitality at the category A games (quite rightly so) with a slight increase on all other games. The hospitality seems to be mostly made up of business personnel and the likes who I'd imagine wont be put off by a slight increase in price.
  11. Spence reminds me a lot of yon Lewis Coult who used to play for Cowden. Obsessed with living the footballers lifstyle and partaking in every footballer cliche activity going without having the football career to match it. Always thought he showed some potential but by all accounts was hopeless last season. If he could ditch all the #nandos #Ibiza #inked #newwheels shite and concentrate on the actual football part of being a footballer he may come good again.
  12. I was under the impression we were replacing the gypsy prevention bollards and gates with Nicoll. A sort of gypsy scarecrow role. May be wrong though.
  13. Aye, at least use something original like Armand One or something.
  14. To be fair Laszlo seem to whore himself about for any job that's going. Did he actually apply? Houston is a pretty solid appointment, think he'll do well.
  15. Well he's certainly succeeded in ruffling a few feathers. Wasps1 1-0 Sons fans
  16. Apology accepted, this time I can find it in my heart to forgive you. Next time you might not be so lucky.
  17. Sums them up tbh. Bitter over a young guy moving to a club where he's guaranteed titles, European football and more money.
