  1. Aye the monk was a hero. Despite his rather intimidating appearance, including the 'we are the people' hand tattoo, he was a decent guy. Last I heard he was playing for some mob in the Vale's league. Most likely Larkhall.
  2. I personally feel Dr Jan is better than both. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=OHPHTpRGvBk&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DOHPHTpRGvBk
  3. Heard it while I was in the queue for a pint, sounded excellent. Really wanted to see them, thought they woulda started a bit later due to them being the only support.
  4. Would rather we used Prunty as back up next season. Useful player to have and certainly capable of starting when required but would like someone with a bit more pace
  5. Neil Young last night at the SECC was very enjoyable. Delighted I took today off work.
  6. Aye f**k Lithgow, he's shite at football and shite at being a pervert. Just shite all round.
  7. He's decent enough, always felt everyone else liked him a bit more than I did but certainly capable in the 2nd division. He's been touting himself for full time the last couple of seasons and always hangs off on signing a deal. IMO he's nowhere near good enough for full time and with the money we were offering him I'm confident we can find a better replacement. Good signing for Ayr but not a huge loss for us if that makes sense.
  8. Trying to cover up genuine seethe with that old chestnut.
  9. Good signing. Even if it is just to witness the sheer and utter seethe from cowdencolt and the likes.
  10. More likely to be Armand to be honest. Either that or it will be Lithgow.
  11. McNiff wasn't ever that great in the second division, done a reasonable job. Don't think he really stood out in the third with Annan either. We're going to need far better than that to survive this season. Wouldn't be against Murray playing there providing he gets fit enough, looking a bit podgy. That being said I'd like to see someone with a wee bit of pace.
  12. Can't say I'd be overly fussed if Lithgow left. Done well for us over the years but there's better out there. I really dont think he's good enough for full time football. McGinn on the other hand is, so absolutely delighted we got him, what a coup! Fair play to him for refusing the deal with St Mirren, seems like a very level headed lad. I'm just gutted we didn't get him on a 2 year deal and could of made some cash out of it.
  13. I'm certain one of these is Armand One which is slightly disappointing. He looked severely overweight last season. Also heard the Yantorno shout from a pretty reliable source so that could be both covered.
  14. Good but boring. Geez some new signings Murray so we at least have something to talk about.
  15. Aye pleased for young Joe. Always liked the look of him in the reserve games I've watched. It's great to see a supporter of the club doing well, hopefully he'll be sorting folk out with comps for away trips soon.
  16. Mr Muzz on Sportsound at 5 with Martin Hardie. Must mean we're defo signing him.
  17. Really dont see Lithgow as being that hard to replace. Would prefer if he signed but if he doesn't i'm pretty confident Murray could find an adequate replacement. I certainly don't think he'll get a better offer elsewhere. One thing I certainly wouldn't consider him is 'quick'. Turner on the other hand was irreplaceable.
  18. I'd imagine he'd be looking for a decent wage and considering we only need cover for that area of the pitch I don't think it would be worth it. We're not exactly in a position to be paying high wages for players we don't really need. Plus I highly doubt we'll be signing him, I think it was just a suggestion. Been no rumours or any indication of us looking to bring him in.
  19. I think Moonster hit the nail on the head when he said we conceded a lot of goals due to our style of play. A lot of focus on attack and not as much focus on the defensive side of things due to needing wins. If we were getting beat Murray wasn't afraid to replace defenders with attackers and you always risk losing goals when you use that tactic. It was refreshing to see actually, with a lot of our previous managers I've been left scratching my head at some of their decisions regarding substitutions when we're behind. I'd like to think Murray will get himself fit for the start of next season, I reckon he can be effective at this level. If Lithgow doesn't sign up I wont lose any sleep over it, he can be replaced and Murray could be a more than adequate replacement. I also wouldn't be against us signing a new keeper.
