  1. The two forced substitutions were the best thing that happened for Celtic.
  2. Stonewall penalty, silly challenge to make.
  3. Some old b*****d was having a go at him after full time, he told him (and only him) to "f**k off" then applauded the rest of the Dundee fans.
  4. This isn't a case of appointing an assistant who used to play for United, said some bad things about Dundee to the press, or gave the Dundee fans a GIRUY as a player after scoring against them, all things that could dismissed as water under the bridge. This is someone who voted to end the very existence of the club, regardless of what his reasons were at the time, there is absolutely no way Billy Dodds can take a paycheck from Dundee after that.
  5. My query mostly concerns the top tier, attendances can be skewed by clubs playing the OF or Edinburgh clubs at home more often than others. As a result the overall attendances show very high numbers despite the home crowds being considerably less than this. I think this is why Livingston are so high despite their small following, they've played both Hibs and Rangers at home with the latter game being 70% full of away supporters.
  6. Very interesting. Is there a breakdown of average home attendances only?
  7. Glad to see the SFA are rectifying this injustice against Dundee... by weakening Kilmarnock for two matches Dundee ideally want them to win. What a shower of useless p***ks.
  8. If you replace "9th" with "9 points" then my end of season prediction for Dundee is looking good.
  9. Why is a Killie fan, less than a week after a huge win over Celtic, posting in a Hamilton vs Dundee thread? What a strange person you are Dindeleux.
  10. Dundee are totally bereft of confidence right now and need something to give the team a lift to get out of the rut they find themselves in. That means either A: beating Hamilton or B: punting McCann. If neither of those things happen, I could easily see this run of defeats stretching well beyond 7 games.
  11. Sounds like a left sided equivalent of Jessie Curran, decent going forward but no defensive awareness. Might be worth switching to 3 at the back if McCann insists on playing two attacking wing backs.
  12. Any word on the Left Back from Celtic that's apparently joining on loan?
  13. I was against Miller joining Dundee when I heard the rumours kicking about but as recent as a year ago I would have been ecstatic with this signing. If he can recapture some of his form from the 2016-2017 season then this might just work. If it doesn't then, well, it's not like our attack can get any worse.
  14. Teams don't just become shite overnight though, I always saw Falkirk as one of the strongest sides in the Championship recently but were a bit unlucky in that they had Hearts, Hibs and Rangers to compete with. I assumed with them gone it would finally be Falkirk's time but it's all went completely wrong it seems.
  15. At the start of last season I predicted Falkirk would win the Championship, 12 months and 2 managers later they are bottom of the league. Any Bairns able to sum up what exactly went wrong?
  16. 1. Celtic (Big Points Gap) 2. Rangers 3. Aberdeen 4. Hibs 5. Hearts (Big Points Gap) 6. Motherwell 7. Kilmarnock 8. St Johnstone 9. Dundee 10. St Mirren 11. Livingston 12. Hamilton
  17. I have it on good authority that Berbatov was seen having a pint in the Bowbridge last Saturday.
  18. Really like Gowzer as a player but have heard from a few sources he's a total ned and if he wasn't good at football he would be stealing hubcaps for a living.
  19. Just want to add I had a lovely meal at Tony Macaroni in Dundee. Kudos to all things Tony Macaroni this weekend.
  20. Actually wished Bain the best, was a good keeper for us once upon a time. After these comments I hope his arse gets splinters from the Celtic bench.
