The only game Peter Grant wouldn't be eligible for is if we play Clyde. So he's absolutely fine for tonight.

I believe there is no clause in the loan for either Grant or McGeever not to play should we face each other.  Which would just be prime cinch if either was to affect the outcome of any possible match.  Long way to go for either team first.

I see Alexander has chucked it good riddance can see news of crownpoint coming out soon and it won't be good news that's how he's away

He is still the Chair of the Foundation who are the applicants for Crownpoint so he is still heavily involved with that.  No news on that does not mean bad news.  It is just due process taking place and that is driven by the council bodies involved.

  3. A lack of space at the site is absolutely not a thing.

For our own supporters, the focus will be on the southern section of the site which currently houses a 4G pitch and a range of smaller all-weather facilities. Recently commissioned architect’s drawings have confirmed there are a range of options to accommodate a stadium sufficient for our current needs and flexible enough to grow with our aspirations in the future without impacting on the facilities throughout the rest of the site, or indeed on the surrounding area.

At best we would end up with a Meadowbank type effort which is absolutely fucking honking. If any plans involve a running track then what's the point. Look at how shit even our national stadium in eith a track.

The pitch will not have a running track around it.  The part of the site with a running track will not be touched, it's the south-west(?) area that is to be developed.

  5. You ignored/declined my offer of sponsorship last year. Your decision.
not personal- I’m sure you’re a lovely bloke- great father, son, brother, husband, cousin et al- I just think the show could have better content- be presented better and be more entertaining. If you put yourself on media whether paid or on a voluntary basis you need to park the sensitivity and accept feedback criticism. Goes with the territory.

You were tweeting us on Friday asking it we were going to be on... Strange when you don't like it and it has such flaws.

Anyway, I've wasted more time on this than it actually deserves and will leave fans to talk about the match.

Edited to add : No sponsorship was declined. I advised you to email the club around this as not my decision to make.
  6. Jeez- hit a wee nerve I think. calm down Paul you are far too sensitive dear boy.
Lie? Not a lie- just saying that there were only 2 (reached 5 at one point) people watching….. was that not the case?
Maybe we should concentrate on the podcast subscriber numbers? 83 I think…..
    woop woop
It goes live on more than one platform. You are seeing the viewers for the one you are on. It's not difficult to understand.

Sensitive? I'm not posting on an online football forum about a show produced for the club you support to belittle and sneer at it all because of who is involved with it. Simple, you don't like it, or the people on it, ask the club to replace me/us.

I am guessing the offer of sponsorship is now off the table?

  7. Get yourselves over to the official Clyde podcast- it’s on live now.  It’s a 2-2 draw currently. 2 presenters and 2 listeners. Come on everyone support the podcast and get insightful chat about the Club and the team and the management.

For someone that doesn't like us you don't half post everywhere about it.

For the record, 2 listeners was only one platform at one specific moment. But I have already corrected you directly on that lie you like to use to belittle us. But fire in if it makes you feel good about yourself. I'm done now replying to your sad, pathetic attempts to get reactions.

P.s Overal views of >35k since we started but you know that already [emoji6] That's just counting.

To those that appreciate the work we do, thanks for genuine support. Needed when putting yourself out there and on this run.

  8. Maybe DL will tell us during tonight's exciting podcast. I'm sure the guys will grill the manager is the same way as they did with the chairman a year past in September.
Can't remember exact details but all, or most, of the submitted questions where asked. Many grouped as along the same theme.

I'm also just a fan doing something for the club I support. I'm not a trained journalist or have experience interviewing in the way you seem to want. More than happy to hand over if someone has those skills and can do a better job.

DL answers all questions on everything from formations, transfers and a lot more tonight. Done my best to get the answers I thought fans would want.

  9. Even being nowhere our best, given the chances created and spurned we could have got something from that. The first goal was symptomatic of our issues that continued throughout. The second I couldn't actually see if there was any real closing down of the shot.

Last week we were beaten by the better team, today I don't think Edinburgh were better. We were the masters of our own downfall IMO.

  10. This is a game where i'd usually reckon getting all 3 points would be fairly straightforward,

We took more points from you last season than you did us, granted it was 5 for us to 4 for you and we absolutely have Improved in most if not all areas this year.

This is our biggest test in the league this season so far. McAllister is the piece of the jigsaw Montrose have been lacking and if they had a striker like him in recent years it's not unthinkable to say they could have done even better in the playoffs.

Would be happy enough to stay unbeaten come full time on Saturday but we are capable of coming away with 3 points.
  11. My son (10 years old) is autistic, what would be classed as "high-functioning" - although I don't like that phrase personally.  He goes to an additional needs school and whilst I understand your fears etc your grand-daughter will grow up to be whatever and whoever she wants to be.

Kids, and adults, can get the right support and environment that can make them strive as has been the case for my boy.  Other than having a touch of dyspraxia (he's can be prone to tripping up a lot) he is a perfectly "normal" kid with a memory that would put MANY to shame.  Autistic doesn't mean unintelligent.  It won't be easy at times but you will all find what works in time.
