Darren Young wouldn't know a footballer is Messi walked up and slapped him in the face. Delighted to have Ray back. We never replaced him when he moved to Alloa, so finding him as the perfect replacement for him is...well....perfect.

Whilst would be better to finish higher up I don't think the prize money is hugely improved per higher placing. Can't find this seasons, but previous there was 2.5k difference per place in the league. Then again beggars can't be choosers and every little helps.

Whilst it undoubtedly costs us in the title challenge we did finish 27 points ahead of 5th placed Stirling so playoffs were never really in danger. That was a wee inside joke for our admin f**k up at Hampden a few years ago when the aforementioned Mr Fitzpatrick played in a game we won but ended up losing the points and very nearly a spot in the playoffs that season. We ended up getting promoted, which shows how damaging that could’ve been.2 -

Looks a pretty clear stamp with his right foot.0 -
Window to loan players is open until the end of February I'm sure.Danny Lennon said in October he desired a creative midfielder and admitted recruitment was poor.
Transfer window is over and we've only signed a right back and a 19 year old striker and lost the league's top goalscorer.
Are we better off after the transfer window than we were before it?1 -
We absolutely need to use the Ioan market to fill the gap as best we can, however we lost 1 match in a run that he barely played in since beating Falkirk. Staying away from 9th still the priority and we have a gap just now. Lewis Jamieson is a very capable player, a similar standard to him up top and another addition in midfield and I think we will be fine. It's undoubtedly going to be tough though.Tell you what you boys are Donald Ducked now in my opinion unless you bring back Alex Williams to bang in the goals I can see a slump in form for the Bully wee.2 -
Sure it would be in the accounts somewhere.

That's quite the identity crisis Lewis Jamieson had yesterday. Fair enough being called Nick McAllister as he was at least on the pitch but Euan Deveney is some going when he left the club weeks ago.

First half good, especially the first 25. Second half we sat deeper and deeper and looked out on our feet. So many players limping out the stadium after the game. Is it pretty? No. Have we improved? Yes. Results clearly show this and this group are giving everything and more.
Mon the fitba team!0 -
The exact opposite [emoji1]. It just makes it swirl.Surely Broadwood's less of a wind tunnel with a building on every side? Not a big fan of games getting called off for high winds.0 -
I think it will start, finishing the match after 2 full halves might be a different matter unless it does calm. Then again they play football in Peterhead every few weeks so there really should be no excuse.

Someone in the Stenhousemuir FC thread suggested the club were keen on bringing in Mark Lamont.
It's probably just tittle-tattle but nevertheless: who is Mark Lamont and will be make the team better?
When he is on it he is very good. I think of the matches against Falkirk in particular when he was key to us winning. Frustratingly these games became less and less as his time at the club went on but even last season against Dumbarton towards the end of the season we saw what he was capable of one more time scoring a peach and being directly involved in the second goal too.
If you can tap in to that version of him it would be a great signing.

Rode our luck twice and took our chance(brilliantly) when it came. Not been pretty from either side but if we can hold on this could be a huge 3 points.

A lot going on I would imagine between Clyde investigation and I would hope Cove doing similar.Jeez. That seems like a pretty major way to mis-hear something. As Shawfielder says above, if that is the case (and can be corroborated) then Shay should probably be apologising to Clyde publicly for a misunderstanding.0 -
"Get back in yer box Hartley"What did they actually say?
I'm not taking sides here or doubting you. Just intrigued.3 -
It was one fan and not fans. If they have said it they shouldn't be allowed back in any stadium, not just Broadwood. We had 3 black players in our squad today just to highlight how moronic this person has been.

Supporter. There was some commotion in the first half over near the Cove support. Steward was over so guessing it was denied or otherwise. If there was something like that said the person shouldn't bother coming back. Not welcome. Ever. From a player or supporter?

If that had finished a goalless draw neither team could have complained. A mistake was going to be the only way either team was winning it and Cove had the quality to take advantage. Frustrating but nothing else.

Link should be In the email.Having a nightmare trying to find out where to watch the game. There's nothing on Clyde fc live. It says the price will come off my season ticket so the order has went through.

Just swung by and had a look in. Some parts of the pitch have a really thin covering of snow. Would hope as long as it's not frozen game will be fine.

Quite a bit of snow in the area near Broadwood. Rain forecast(?) so hope that will clear it. There are always one or row patches that cause problem due to lack of sun light.

I'm sure it wad said at a previous Q&A when asked that we would be going back to black shorts and red socks. Not sure if that comes with a change in design of the home top.
