Ayr have probably had more training sessions this week than we have had this year. Some shift from the team today.

Looked knackered and played like it too. Disappointing we couldn't sneak a draw given the other result but 4 points from this week is probably more than we thought we would get. Started the week in 10th, finish it in 8th. Now the aim is to stay there at a minimum.

Better this half from us.

The only positive is it's only one.

If were to get even a draw tomorrow night now it would be a fantastic week. Even 4 points isn't that bad. If we got 7 points then it would be an insane return from a quite horrific fixture schedule. We were solid, if unspectacular, last night but we have been on the end of that many times.

Really hope we go for this tonight. If we were to get a win we would likely be heading to Methil on Thursday sitting in 8th , considering Dumbarton and Forfar are facing Falkirk and Thislte tonight, and have us 4 points clear of bottom spot. Anything we can pick up from East Fife would then be a bonus.

We also hit the post and had a chance from Goody fly wide. Its been an even game.

Good on Charlie Adam for losing weight I say!0 -
2 nil at half time would be enough for me to be more than comfortable getting Goody off and rested.
Professional job so far.0 -
"An ambitious full time club" that was 10 points behind part time Arbroath having played a match more last season and have failed to beat us, Cove and Dumbarton this season too. Might need to channel that ambition into winning more matches IMO.

The whole stream is down much to the annoyance of Rangers fans. Every cloud and that...

Great result but still much to improve on. Have to take confidence that we ground that out.

Would have taken a draw over 90 before the game so to not even see that out is poor but nobody would be expecting that type of mistake from Vajs. Its a shocker and it would have stopped the run of losses we are on.

Defensively better from us one or two scares aside. Robertson looks a tidy intelligent player, hopefully more game time will help him improve further. Still think there is more from us going forward but would take another 45 just like that if we get the win.

Shite from first to last minute. Defence horrible. Midfield likewise and Goody left to stand himself getting soaked. Peterhead worthy of their win without really being great either but more purpose to them at points.

Wind is howling near the stadium just to make Peterhead players and staff feel at home.

Season tickets holders got the match at a reduced price only so still part of the PPV figures.
Sad and worrying times for the poor folks that are losing their jobs. Hopefully for their sakes they get sorted soon. Sadly this is likely not going to be the last club to take similar decisions.0 -
If you drop an email to historian@clydefc.co.uk they might be able to help.

I'm giving an opinion on what was on here and elsewhere, you're jumping to insults. You're making a huge assumption that we haven't bothered to try and get the game on based on a tweet not explicitly stating that our staff have been doing their jobs. You're an absolute numpty.Hopefully the match will be rescheduled sooner rather than later.

That's fair enough then that work was at least done. That's all you can ask and that clarity would have helped when it was announced IMO.There were four volunteers and the groundsman working on the pitch this morning. I totally agree the game should never have been called off, and if Buster was still there it wouldn't have been imho, but it wasn't for a lack of effort.
I drove from Crieff down for the game today and it never struck me for a minute it would be off. We're going to need to learn from this pronto or we won't be playing very many times at all until March.0 -
Nope but 3 words in the announcement would haven stopped any of this discussions. "Despite best efforts" or something along those lines. Or is everyone currently boarding Noah's Ark and we have all grossly underestimated the rainfall? What ye wanting the groundsmans timesheet posted?0 -
If it turns out they were working on the pitch then fine, but there has been nothing even from the club so far to suggest this is the case. If that is the case it seems stupid given what the weather was like.Based on one guy out walking his dog at half 10? Come on boys, this is getting silly.0 -
Seems to be a few angrier at Clyde fans annoyance at the match being off rather than what appears to be very little attempt this morning to work on the pitch knowing fine well the weather was to be what it was overnight.

The SPFL official twitter account has went on a like spree of less than complimentary tweets from Hearts fans.
