The only reason us fans were shitting it in the 2nd half was because of the amount of collapses we had last season. The players saw the game out great as mentioned above.

A bit of patience was all that was required. The Doc and the rest of his transfer group have tended to get it right with the signings this last 13 months. Can see a minimum of 3 signings yet before the window closes. Great to watch a side with so much pace on the break and never gives the other side a minutes peace.

Fantastic result and performance today. Think I’m the only person that thought Hearts played alright but we defended really well and tore them apart at times on the break. Big Seb was outstanding.

It’s been a joy to watch how much he’s improved in the last 2 years. Here’s to a 3rd year.

He came on as a sub a couple of times in that position last season and was very good. Granted it was very limited game time.

What an average run of the mill player

Think he’ll go in the last week of the transfer window. Every faith in the Doc and Strachan etc to get his replacement right.

The goals against record last season took a hammering against Celtic and Rangers compared to everyone else in the league. Take those 8 games out and it’s not as bad as is being made out against the rest. It is however number 1 priority to get sorted. As soon as Robertson got injured preseason we should’ve been getting another experienced centre half in the squad.

He’d be a tremendous signing. Was Hearts best player in the game we won 1 nil at Dens last season. Tore us apart at times in that game. Won’t happen though.

Not sure about that tbh. Portales defending 1 on 1 is excellent and his use of the ball is very good. Not sure how we’ve managed to end up with McGhee playing centrehalf again. Right back or right wingback should be his position if he’s in the team. Astley was dropped so Portales could be moved across to the right where he’s more comfortable. Graham came on as sub in the Annan game then started the Inverness game so played his way into the team. Thought he looked better in the Inverness game than what Astley did in the Annan one.

Rise above it. Hopefully we have to do it again in a couple of years.

He sets the tempo pressing from the front. With pretty much standing pitch side at Glebe Park twice it’s very apparent he’s vocal in organising players around him. Big Seb looks like he could go on to have a good season. The Doc’s got a big decision to make with the starting 11 for next week after Mulligan’s performance today. Think he will go for Lyall but Josh was very good today. Others have went ahead of him just down to injuries last season. Was like watching Gavin Rae today.

Not sure how Murray wasn’t originally given the goal. Devine looks like he’s pretty much on the goal line in the middle of the goal trying to cut out the finish.

Possibly a young midfielder called Lochead who’s apparently got English Premiership club’s scouting him.

All the best to Max, hope he kicks on and makes us a few quid further down the line. Tonight should’ve easily been 7 or 8. Ended up a good workout with us pushing for the win late on and having to break down a side that were giving their all and sitting deep. Left back and centre half please.

Probably only Anderson and Legzdins left on the playing staff that I didn’t think would be in the 1st team squad this season. Last chance for Fin as well this season.
