Long time no see Tam! Sounds like a poor signing then. Think he'll be more of a squad player for us tbh. We’ve got ample cover in the meantime in both wingback areas with the players still at the club until we strengthen later in the window with either the return of Beck or a new left footed wingback.

Agreed that it’s low risk. Having only seen him once and have seen how Docherty sets his teams up I’d be surprised if Lamie’s fit he doesn’t come in at centrehalf and Donnelly moves to leftback. McCowan’s been exceptional for us this season, wonder if he gets moved to wingback until we get a more defensive minded player to play the wingback position. He could definitely play there.

Who’s the coach’s that shafted him. Wonder if at 16 he knew how to play anywhere on the park.

Wonder if Levein got wind of us signing him. He was involved in our scouting network apparently whilst still at Brechin.

He must have idea on how to play somewhere. How can somehow who doesn’t have a clue where to play manage to become a professional player and still under a full time contract into his 20’s? Boy’s been very, very lucky by the sound of it.

Levein’s thing is usually how they’re defensively. So he’s not a left wing back then?

Doesn’t really say whether he’s got decent pace, decent on the ball, decent in the air, gets about the park etc. after some of the dross we’ve come up against over the years he can’t be the 2nd worst can he? If so holy f**k what is Docherty thinking and let’s hope you’re wrong. Only the keeper and Philips in midfield (think that’s his name) looked decent for St Johnstone that day. Granted it was the worst performance by a team against us in the league I’ve saw this season by a distance. They were very poor that day and we should’ve been well and truly out of sight by the time of the late collapse.

What’s his strengths and weaknesses because I’ve only saw him the once in a game we pretty much dominated from start to finish. Hope it works out.

He’s the one very good source of signing info on our club. Not much gets out nowadays.
