Kingsman: The secret service. Wow I was amazed at how good this film was. When it was released at the cinemas I wasn't sold on the idea but after reading the reviews and a personal recommendation from my cousin I thought I'd give it a watch. I was hooked after the first 10 minutes, Samuel l Jackson gives a memorable performance (his lisp cracked me up). Hell I even liked Colin Firths character, violent at times but overall a great film. 8.5/10

Gutted I couldn't get tix for the phonics latest tour. Hopefully bon jovi decided to play another Scotland tour next year. Would kill for runrig tickets aswell.

True Story Jonah hill plays a shamed ex journalist for the New York Times who receives a phone call telling him a man (played by a very chilling James Franco) has been arrested for the murder of his family and was using his name. The next hour goes through the stories of the events that happened that day which culminates in the trial. Jonah hill plays his part well but James Franco excels. I kinda was expecting a huge twist at the end but it was better than some films I've seen lately. 6/10

Hot tub time machine 2. Nowhere near as funny as the 1st, there was some funny scenes but they should've left this one alone 5/10

Just finished watching Southpaw and I ain't afraid to say I had a wee tear at the end. Outstanding film. 8/10

The past 2 nights I've watched some old classics. Took advantage of my dad's blu Ray collection and watched lethal weapon for the 1st time in about 20 years, it still holds up even though it's nearly 30 years old. 7/10 And yesterday well....it had to be back to the future....is it only me that wants the self tying nike's more than a hover board. 8/10

X factor/the voice/britains got talent. It's all manufactured garbage that pretty much buys the #1 song come Xmas when it comes to X factor. The muppet that won X factor last year has pretty much vanished off the face of the earth.....or went back to his 9-5 call centre job doing karaoke at his local at the weekend. Has anyone who's won the voice went onto superstardom? And a dog.....yes a dog wins britains got talent....only for it to come out that they used a stunt double. Tv nowadays is filled with reality shows and "talent" shows.

Black Mass. A few times during the film I forgot it was Johnny Depp that was playing whitey bulger. Great film, tense at bits as well as chilling. Surely Depp has got best actor in the bag this time

Metallica all the way. Master of puppets by far their best album. I'm a big indie fan aswell but there's nothing better than hearing some good old 80s/90s thrash metal blast on your headphones after a busy day at work
