Cant disagree he would have been a better player than what we had , but our style of play would have just passed him by , Partick used him in an attacking wide position with Graham and Rudden through the centre , don’t think he would have been suited to be an out and out centre forward which is what we were needing at the time

He done ok at Partick but you are correct he was shocking for us before and that would not have changed going by the style we were playing , we needed an out and out big centre forward

Not bringing in a forward was a major concern, there must have been someone out there that could have done a job , I think Wright was a knee jerk reaction by previous management but Hopkin did have time to rectify it but for some reason didn’t

People need to realise he was injured and unable to play for over half his time on loan to us , don’t think we wanted to take the chance of extending his loan due to the injury , which possibly turned out to be wrong decision

Those rumours are not being said by anyone connected to the club or local media , I would be surprised if we were interested in anymore than 2 of their squad

I would expect to see a large number of changes , as for budget you can only speculate that with the number of off field money raising projects being currently constructed and put in place that there may be some extra going towards the playing budget

Looking forward to seeing what Hopkin can do with his own squad , the atmosphere in the team and support staff since he has taking over is miles ahead of where it was when he took over as well as the set up being much more professional , players are saying training is more enjoyable that he is very encouraging supportive and knowledgeable , last couple of clubs he has been at were in poor shape within the boardrooms and not in best financial situations , this is his chance to show what he can do with a decent budget and supportive owner

I thought it was horrible , in the flesh very similar to the pink of 2 seasons ago

Cant believe the number of people complaining about the colour of the strip , when they did not put a vote in , everyone posting had the opportunity to vote

Lots of people said the Grey was too dull and looked liked a washed out white strip , great idea of auctioning off the other 2 samples

People said that about the Pink strip and it was a massive seller

I saw the votes and the fans voted for the Blue one , with 5 hours to go there were less than 6 votes of a difference, I personally voted Grey but unfortunately was out voted
