Getting boring now you stated club should put out a statement saying 2 year deal contract are under discussion , not very professional ,

I don’t think they will all be happy with proposed game time and might want to look elsewhere , they are all squad players but some of them might want more than that , club leaving it up to them

Making nothing up , reading between the lines Statement that players on 2 years deals are under discussion ( as quoted) the club statement said they had 2 year deals , why would they need to say anymore

Will sign at least 2 strikers Moore , still to prove fitness Moffatt, not an out and out striker now and will get limited game time McKenzie , still relatively inexperienced at this level no way could we go into next season with them as our first choice strikers

Cant understand why people are getting hot under the collar regarding the 2 year contracts saying club should issue statements etc on what they have been told , why should the club divulge into a players personal contract , the individual players will have been told the amount of game time they can expect to play and it’s up to them if they want to accept that or look for another club , I would have thought a couple would have had a word in their ear by Hopkin

I would think 2 midfielders and 1 goalkeeper , likely have a younger goalkeeper on bench with the option to get a loanee if first choice gets injured

Agree with you on that , hopefully working with Hopkins signings they play to the potential they have ( didn’t show much season just past) would cost too much money to end their contracts, and I believe they have more to give and being in last season of contract they will contribute more to either get a contract for following season or to put themselves in the shop window for other clubs , McCowan is a strange one , we go on about how good he is but no team has showed any interest in him so far , you would have thought there would be rumours but not hearing anything around club of him leaving

Not buying season tickets ultimately results in less numbers and quality of signings , how many people would buy if the club came out and said all we want to do next season is stay in league ,every club will be saying our aims are to be in play offs ,

Cant see any of those 2 being anywhere near Somerset next season

He would need to do a great number of new signings to be anywhere near winning the Championship, the league they have just won as far inferior to current Championship

Would think shortly , I would also think that not all 2 year contracted players will return

Cant see any big signing this week , tomorrow is all about current squad staying and going , I would reckon at least 2 weeks before any players currently employed elsewhere being announced , which will coincide with new strip and potentially seasons being mentioned as only just over 9 weeks away from first Cup match

Cant see our marquee signing coming from Morton , also not saying marquee signing will be our first
