    He has still 1 year on his contract at Ipswich , he only came to Ayr because Kerr was a friend(ex teammate) of the Ipswich then assistant, I can’t see him ending up at Falkirk , Smith and Hopkin were big fans of him , can’t see him being overlooked for any defender

    Moore was a very short term to prove fitness ( so was never going to take it ) Todd was offered but would not be leaving due to Hopkins ( as more or less stated by poster) he signed because he believed in Hopkin

    The only 2 to turn down offers are McCowan who has gone to a Premiership club ( no matter who was in charge he would have gone ) and a rarely fit Walsh who by all accounts is going back to where he came from ( no big loss )

    He certainly has the ability to step up and with a more experienced coaching team and players around him I believe he will be a success at Dundee , one of these players that needs the challenge , he would not develop much if he stayed in the Championship,
