Hester on loan again. It’s a situation I don’t really understand. Why sign him up again then loan him out? He’ll be 23 soon do not a kid. Do management think he’ll get stronger and improve his hold up play so he can become a first team player?
Bloody hell it’s quiet. Meantime shall we talk about Hutton? Only saw him once in the last match away to East Fife. Obviously he had a quiet day [emoji23] But he did pull off one worldie of a save.
Watching him warm up with the subs away to East Fife his shooting, passing and keepy uppy was different class to anyone else there. He does have Premier League talent - and a pub team physique.
Back to hopes for the season. Last time we won the bottom division and got to the playoffs the year after only to be beaten by Dumbarton... we finished 5th the year after that and bottom the next year. A repeat of that to be avoided at all costs.
Given the fairly unique (windy) conditions at Gayfield our players should have an advantage at being able to cope with and against the wind. It’s not conducive to good football, but it’s OUR crap conditions.
