The current squad that is there is more than enough to get up the league. 32 goals conceded so far after 10 games says it all and lack of fire power. A fresh face with different ideas and training methods may inject some life into the lads. A different attacking formation should be at the forefront and am sure a few gems are kicking about the east of Scotland/junior leagues which may benefit in the short term. The lack of strategy and shape during games games has been embarrassing and that’s nothing training can’t sort out with the right coaching. I fully believe with the correct appointment they will shoot up to mid table over the next few months.

The reality here is that Barry's recruitment has been pretty poor and all left pretty late which shows a real lack of preparation for a new season. He should have had some business tied up early doors and had other potential targets addressed before the season ended. The last 2 managers have been experienced and look at what has happened. Lets be honest here, we are never going to get relegated so why not give a younger manager a chance to progress new ideas into the squad, a new vision and work towards progression for this season and next. Yes, a difficult time for the club but we are only 3 games in. The team is so low in confidence it's unreal, stevie c should also go

Absolute nonsense, your number 3 cleaned him out right in front of the dugout and proceeded to follow through with a kick after so No10 obviously reacted. Tens mins after that number 3 had his elbow up and cleaned out Number 11..... that should have been a second book able offence. In fact he should have went for the first kick out. Their goalkeeper (who was dodgey BTW) also had a kick out off the ball at one of the Jeanfield boys while their manager was comical going off his head at the side with his sqeeky voice. You were given a lesson from Jeanfield from start to finish so just take it and move on.

Thomas Courts I think will be in with a chance. Ambitious manager that worked hard at Kelty and is looking to progress. A chance until the end of the season to prove himself at this level would be an ideal candidate. i am sure there is another few managers out there that could also be in for it.....

Another good young manager...... however why did he walk away from a team that could have created history to nothing i ask? Something not right there.... Signing over 100 players while in charge with a generous budget in a mediocre league i would expect success anyway...... looking at the fans forum they said that they don't feel many players developed under him hence the reason for the high turnaround of players. I also wonder why the job has not been advertised yet...... someone they are maybe speaking too???

At the end of the day, the club need a change. Clearly his coaching methods has had a negative impact on the way the team has played hence the reason for the poor results and low confidence which is clearly evident. This is a positive and glad a decision was made to freshen it up and it could be an exciting time ahead. Will be interesting to see what happens with Stevie C, but would be a good option if Charlie King came in and i know his assistant is an ex Brechin City player as well so know how the club is run and the community spirit, but also the taste of success and how to win leagues, win games ugly and play attractive football as best as we can. Would be a great learning curve for all parties involved. Or the decision could be a safe one in which experience comes in and and changes the whole shape of the team and mentality of players. I just hope the correct appointment is made and we can start to climb the table again.

Yeah, would have been a better idea I think to have opened it up. Some decent up and coming managers kicking about but they go with a big name unproven at senior level. A real strange one with Thomas leaving suggesting a bit of unrest at the club as they are sitting in a good position and a chance to make history. I am also surprised Mcdowall remains as he's another unsuccessful manager at junior level just about ending Jeanfield and Kinnoull...... I think they would have been better taking their time and appointing the right person.

Who would the fans liked to have seen come in?

Christ I'd bring back Charlie King the now.... am already nervous for the next few games ...... not good with a depleted squad in this league

So most of you would like an experienced manager in then by the sounds of it? I wouldn't mind seeing a younger manager in and see how they got on this season.... plenty of decent ones in the Juniors or other clubs just now. Something to entertain us fans and have that hunger and desire to make something of themselves.... we have a decent squad at present but Darren clearly not getting the best out of them.....

It certainly is not good to see us struggling already. Haven't managed to get to a game yet but have heard already about the anti football with 5 at the back and lack of shape throughout the team hence the reason for conceding goals. If Doddsey got the bullet who would you want to see in? Young enthusiastic manager or an experienced one?
