The League Cup campaign proved exactly what level our squad was at,

Clear as day we are in trouble, We can't play 4-4-2 against Raith with the squad we have available just now,
It's a massive job to fix the confidence and squad and January can't come soon enough, The bench yesterday was massively poor, Was disappointed when Hylton got taken off, was wanting him put out on the wing instead of stuck uo top,
If we are to stick with the 4-4-2 where does Mckenna play?

Glad it's a complete clean slate,
Needed to be, the new management team will have there own ideas,
Agree the last few years recruitment has been pretty poor, far more failures than successful signings,
Fresh start, hopefully a fresh style and give us something to look forward to on Saturdays

Regarding recruitment DC would have had the final say not Sellars I would have thought.Not sure the whole process about bringing players in but in my opinion BS and SM have been pretty harshly treated and the players will no that too.
If malcolm had made any impact he would of got an opportunity to stay, he obviously didn't,

I'm just looking forward to a change,
The football we have played over the last 18 months has been very poor, few boys need shown the door and hopefully a more balanced squad come January,
Could maybe been a better appointment but could of been a lot worse,

Yeh I agree, Can't say he would of been my pick but who ever it is deserves a fair chance, its not an easy job
If it is him I hope he brings in his own staff, Can't blame Malcolm for the issues we have but it needs to be a complete clean sweep and fresh start

I have heard a name - someone who’s managed a big club in Scotland (didn’t do overly well at it mind you), is a young guy, someone that comes across to me as a good guy too and someone I could imagine would have very good contacts.

I'm unsure if I want it to be of of the names I've heard but if they bring in someone on there coaching team like a Linn or a Swankie who has a connection with the fans I'm sure most will get behind them,
I've thought about it a lot but it was 100% time for a change and hopefully a better brand of football, Gonna be a hard job for who ever gets it but they need to have the fans behind them and be given a fair chance to fix the clear issues

It was no shock he was given the job in the short term but for me he should of been away aswell, feel we needed a fresh face with a fresh approach to try and give the players a boost, I doubt much even changed regarding the set up and tactics last night, I get there wasn't much of a turn around in time to do this between last night and Saturday but Campbell being shown then door was on the cards for a good few weeks now and I would of liked to have though there was already a plan in place, if the plan was malcom then you would of been as well of sticking with Dick,

All tonight has confirmed is we are in massive trouble and we need a new manager soon, Taking Bird off for Little is mind boggling,
Awful from Gaston after a great save sums up where we are,
Big changes needed in January if we want to stay in this league, the squad we have isn't good enough as it stands

Thomson with Linn/Swankie part of the coaching team?
Sounds harsh but Malcolm or sellers can't be part of the coaching set up for me,
Davidson be a bit negative for me, Petrie seems happy at montrose and don't think he would come at this point,
Would just like someone who the fans can get behind and give us a better brand of football, hopefully they are in for January so they have the opportunity to make changes,

Slater could be a good player if there was ball winning midfielder, it has been obvious to everyone we needed a bit of physicality in midfield, it was also obvious to everyone the defence needed freshened up, We still need a left back, Great to have Hammy back but he doesn't have the pace or legs to play there anymore and would have him fighting it out with Little to partner ToB,
We also need to get Stewart further up the pitch, he has done a great job covering at the back but we miss his drive and running going forward,
One time we passed the ball about yesterday resulted in the goal, Hopefully the new manager can get us playing a bit more football as we have good players,

It can't be Malcolm and Sellars,
We might end up being relegated this season but we were heading that way anyway, the quality of football in last 18 months has been absolutely dreadful, we never looked like breaking spartans today, apart from the goal we had no other attempts, that's just not good enough,
It's clear the relationship with players and now fans was broken and it's sad it ended with him walking off arguing with fans,
Hopefully he can come back one day and get the send off he deserves,

Dick probably should of been away before now, its been a long time coming bad sad to see it end on a sour note, he doesn't deserve the abuse he got but he should also know better and walk off,
It's not just the defeats, it's the performance level and tactics we have e had for last 18 months or so, today we were well out played by a team 2 leagues down when we are almost full strength starting 11,
Board need to get it right and get the right man in, They need someone who the fans will fer behind and get some excitement back,

The biggest frustration for me is the level of performance,
You aren't gonna suddenly get Campbell to play free flowing attacking football, But what we have to watch is really bad at times and the constant changing formation and positions, Scott Stewart played in about 3 positions alone yesterday, also the absolute glaring lack of reinforcements and cover for an already short and ageing defence for years now is starting to really show.
I thought we had got past this and got back to what we are good at but the last 5 or so games has been a mess again, you can blame loosing ToB to Injury all you want but a squad should of been built to deal with Injuries and suspensions,
It's also really disappointing to get absolute no feedback from the club regarding Injuries and that, seem to get more Information on here, the club have done a great job in the last few years to get where they are but they wouldn't be in this position without the supporters and we certainly deserve better

Can't really fault the guys tonight, performances like that will give people something to be hopeful of,
One of the differences tonight was the subs, Raiths subs made them stronger and even though all ours were forced it perhaps made us weaker, although though Norrie done ok,
Set pieces were a massive frustration tonight, and at the end we played the free kick into the corner to try and waste time and got countered on and that's the kinda goal you loose when your at the bottom,
