Fantastic performance against a wounded Arbroath side, but you can only play what’s infront of you. Every player gave their all & actually look like they care this season. Looks like a very good close knit squad & there seems to be a real togetherness which is fantastic.

Number 4’s Aidan Quinn, he looked honking.

First half was good, should of scored two or three. Second half not so much. Marc made a couple of decent saves in both half’s to keep the score down. Failure to put the ball in the back of the net is going to come around and bite us in the behind in the league. Need to be more clinical in the final third. I’ve been quite impressed with Inglis & Morrison since they’ve signed for us. Moore also has been quietly impressive, much improved from last season. Nditi worries me a lot defensively, he’s far too rash & impulsive at times allowing the opposition to get in behind him, gets caught out of position too much for my liking. Thommo again very threatening, but just lacking the final pass at times. Thought Seb Ross had a very good game today & deserved a goal but it wasn’t to be. Need another option up top, Skelly ran his socks off but looked absolutely knackered with about 10 minutes to go.

Whyte has a minor injury apparently. Thomson’s on holiday. Unsure about Hutchinson & Munro but I’m sure they were in the stands today though.

Suppose they all have to start somewhere, can’t imagine him getting much game time ahead of Marc.

If I got offered a job to potentially triple my wages or maybe even more I’d be off in a heartbeat too. This loyalty nonsense just doesn’t exist. You always put yourself & your family first no matter what in life. also I can guarantee a fair majority of the players will be delighted that he’s staying on as manager.

Totally disagree with the statement on Facebook regarding his choice to say. But I’m delighted he is staying, he was a massive part in keeping us in the division last season regardless what anyone says. Yes performances faded away when we looked like we were set for play offs, but we were nowhere near ready to face the challenges of the play offs. This season he’s building a squad that looks very good, albeit we’ve only had one friendly to go on. I think we will be challenging for the title especially under Ray.
