I think a couple of centre backs is needed, can’t see Whyte extending his contract in league two, he’s much better than that. left back definitely needed, still baffled Luke Strachan got dropped, albeit I know he was on loan. we need wingers that can actually beat a man & cross the ball also.

Must be one of the only ones that doesn’t rate Moore. too lightweight, looks like he canna run, canna pass & canna tackle. our whole midfield minus slater can get tae for next season.

Was hopeful he’d take over from Gary Irvine… he did well for us, hasn’t played since his injury in January which kept him out for basically the rest of the season.

The baffling thing for me is how Archie Thomas can’t get a game ahead of either of these two?

Probably a blessing in disguise that we’re not going up to League one. I couldn’t imagine this team in that division next season. We’d get torn apart week in week out. I struggle to watch it in league two at this moment in time.

Absolutely shambolic today, blew them away first half then took the foot of the gas at 1-0? Irvine has to take the blame for this today, the game was going away from us and he still stood there happy a content with the side that was on the field.

He signed a new deal back in December, and his performances since then went missing, hat trick against Annan aside.

Be interesting to see if any of these players have a clause in their contract that they can terminate if we don’t achieve promotion…

Cheers for this update, missed the game due to work commitments. seems a fair assessment, however it just screams of usual Gary Irvine tactics, he seems so tactically inept. some of his selections this season have been totally baffling, echoing your comments, why change the system just to suit Harkins it’s bonkers. also for me Strachan has to start. Hopefully we’ll have a better performance against Annan at station park.

I’m not too sure this is going to be as straightforward as some fans think. Annan are in the play offs on merit, it’s no fluke. taking nothing for granted here.

Just like in a cup game, both teams will try to up their performances to get to the final & potentially become the play off winners. All comes down to who wants it more at the end of the day.

Out of curiosity does anyone have a list of players under contract for next season?

Although we have the upper hand against Annan in the league, form & head to head go completely out the window in a play off game: I do feel we are the better side, it just depends how we play on the day, performances have been below par since the turn of the year. 5-1 hammering of Annan aside. However whenever I’ve seen Annan, albeit only against us, I haven’t been that impressed with them to be very honest. 3-1 Win to Forfar over the two legs.

Craig Slater robbed of player of the season today. anyone with half a brain knows he’s been our best player this season by an absolute mile.

Straight red card so does he not miss the play off first leg as well then?

Always rated Blair Currie, he’s my pick for team of the year of players I’ve seen this season. Made a couple of great saves against us this season.

My League Two team of the year of players I’ve season this season would be. Before anyone has a hissy fit at some players that they think maybe shouldn’t be in the squad. As stated this only in games which I have witnessed. Scottish League Two Team of the Season released. some interesting choices in there. baffled how Craig Slater hasn’t made it in. What’s everyone else’s thoughts? anyone changes you would make?

Meechan & Munro voted in the League Two Team of the year. as voted for by players I believe.

Absolutely this regards league one. this team in league one would finish season horrendously, especially with the quality of teams potentially going to be in there. there’s only a handful of players I think would be good enough for the step up, a major overhaul would be required.
