It is really worrying times at the moment, on the pitch we don’t look good enough at all & some of the tactics have been baffling going back since the turn of the year; we fumbled over the line to get in the play offs in what was in a truth a poor league which ultimately has to fall down on the manager. I see no change whatsoever from Irvine, in fact I think we look worse this season(may be jumping the gun slightly as it’s still technically pre season) , I’m not saying he needs to go however he is going to need to shake things up & improve quickly. Start of in the league as poorly as we have done in friendlies & the premier sports cup then we’re in trouble. Can kiss goodbye to even any hint of a league title. If Whyte is out long term again that is gonna be a massive blow, centre half needs to be the priority especially with the way Munro likes to tally up the bookings.

Hussain’s been caught out of position, misplaced a few passes, nearly passed Hamilton through if it wasn’t for Marc coming out & clearing it. I know it’s still early days but I’m not convinced at all with him as our centre half, hoping Whyte’s injury isn’t serious & he is back pronto. on Nditi he seems to go for things he’s no chance in getting in turn leaving us exposed at the back. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Aye he took a break in March, apparently was close to retiring then Irvine’s persuaded him to play part time at Forfar. Only time will tell if he’s fit or not I guess, I hope so though -
This absolutely baffles me how anyone could of liked Shepherd as a player. He ran around aimlessly like a headless chicken up front whenever he played & very rarely got a reward. When he got in to the final third he didn’t know when to pass or shoot & also had no fight in either, used to go down to the minimalist touches. Although somehow he ended up with 6 goals, albeit 2 taps in & a couple of penalties, very rarely contributed at all in games. On a side note I’d say we’ve majorly upgraded our strike force for this season, so expectations for more goals should be high, so on that basis we’ll finish with the least amount of goals in the league.
