Will be a massive let down if we don’t keep hold of Meechan, Reilly, Easton & Spencer.

I’ll just put this right out there, I’d much rather have Danny Denholm on the wing instead of Connor Coupe or Jamie Bain.

Raging aye?? If either leave for Kelty, good riddance i say, or they stay and fight for their place in our championship side.
Oh how buzzing I am to watch Mackintosh & Coupe instead of Reilly & Easton next season[emoji42][emoji42]
Boring football here we come.0 -
Be really disappointed to lose Easton & Reilly in the summer, no matter what side they do go to.
Jim Weir’s going to have one hell of a busy summer to bring in quality regardless of which league we are in next season.
A few lads in the squad that I wouldn’t mind losing Malone being one of them.
But lets be honest if you got offered a job for better wages you’re gonna jump at the chance, also closer to home for both players.0 -
Who would have thought with 5 games to go we would be in contention for a play off at the better half of the table after the shambolic start of the season we suffered.
Jim Weir deserves a huge amount of credit for the job he has done since coming in & steadying the ship.4 -
Bairdy or Whyte for me.
Without Baird’s goals we wouldn’t be in contention for a play off place.
Whyte’s dramatically improved not only himself but others around him now that he’s being played in what I feel to be his best position.2 -
Cedwyn Scott signs on loan for the Loons till the end of the season from Dundee.
Surprised with this to be honest, thought Matty Aitken would have been useful enough for the bench.0 -
Opinions on Cedwyn Scott?
Seen he was on loan at you lads for the first half of the season?
He’s just came in on loan at us till the end of the season.0 -
Also looks like Adam Eckersley has signed on with us for another year, nothing official from the club as yet.

Michael Kennedy leaves Forfar for Jeanfield Swifts.
Jim Weir Manager of the month also, thoroughly deserved! [emoji1319]5 -
Looking at the league table and to see that we are only 3 points behind second place is crazy after such a poor start to the season.
Credit must go to Jim & all the players for rallying round and turning the season into what could be a potential play offs at the better end of the table! [emoji1316]6 -
How did Ross Cunningham get on with you guys? Last time I checked it seemed like he wasn't starting.
Looked alright when he came up to us when he started but then he’s kinda just fizzled out the team & hasn’t really been given many chances, sat on the bench most of the time & some games didn’t even get on.
Not really sure he was what we needed at the time and not entirely sure what position he’s meant to be.0 -
Just started playing this absolutely gem of a game, possibly the best game ever invented!
How good was Mark Kerr on this game though?
What a player virtually.0 -
Thoughts on Adam Eckersley folks?
Still do a good job?bit surprised he’s dropped down to us in League One personally!0 -
Double signing for the ‘Loons’ with Adam Eckersley & Daniel Hoban signing until the end of the season.

Big loss losing out on Mark Hill, he’s been our best loan signing for a while. All the best to the guy though!
Be interesting to see if a midfielder is now added to Jim’s ‘ wish list ‘ this transfer window.
Was surprised he said he was looking for a centre back but obviously is Munro is signing for Arbroath that would make sense.1 -
I stayed and applauded , some fans booing
Booing was deserved today lets me blatantly honest?
Last derby win I can remember is away to Arbroath when we thought we’d won the league and then chucked it away.0 -
Given the lack of activity on this site you wouldn't think we had a MUST WIN GAME coming up.
In order to avoid a dour relegation battle over the rest of the season we have to get at least 12 points over each of the next 3, 9 game quarters. This would give us 45 points and a respectable mid-table position. The easiest way to do this is 4 wins from 9 and anything else picked up is a bonus.
Jim Weir should have the following games pencilled in as must win games.
Stenhousemuir. Away.
Brechin. Away.
Dumbarton. Home.
Montrose. Home.
Anyone got a better plan?
Must win game in mid october?
Give yourself a break jeezo man[emoji23]0 -
5-5 last night in a closed door friendly against Peterhead.
Interesting one that, could we no keep a couple goals back, cause we’ll need them in the league![emoji849]
Never look like scoring when it matters..0 -
Managed fine without Sutherland goals this season. Jim Weir confident of signing striker in next 24 hours, no prizes for guessing who! Heard Sutherland hasn’t been turning up for training.
That theory shot down this morning, it was Ross Cunningham from Hamilton on loan!0 -
So....
It’s not Shane Sutherland..
Ross Cunningham on loan from Hamilton till mid January!0 -
McCallum
Meechan Munro Malone Whyte
Bain Muzza Fraser Coupe
Baird Starkey
This has to be a wind up?
You can not be serious?[emoji23][emoji23]

Baird is the best striker in the league by a mile. Guarantee every team in League 1 would have him in a heartbeat.
I’m not saying that he’s not, just saying he hasn’t shown it so far! But I think he will come good in the end!0 -
If we lose Easton, I can see the crowds dwindling even more & if we lose him to a club in this league it’ll come back to bite us.
Just find it criminal that a lot of folk are slating arguably one of our best players?
Crazy the mindset of some of these fans.
The players around him aren’t exactly helping much?
Baird hasn’t exactly hit the ground running, he’s been a bit of a let down so far despite scoring two goals.
Fraser’s been out with little niggles so hasn’t really influenced in any games.
Hilson’s been his usual not 100% but still gives 100% effort.
Reilly’s tried to influence things but with nobody willing to offer options has been forced to either try to hit it long or pass sideways.
MacKintosh as well doesn’t do enough for me, fair enough he runs about and puts in effort but he’s got nothing else to offer whatsoever, he’s just a squad filler type of player for me, just fits in wherever he’s needed to very little effect.
Bain at right wing’s a strange one, don’t think he does enough in that role personally.
Moore looks okay, but would rather see him come on from the bench.
And then you’ve got Starkey & Coupe who aren’t good enough.
We have very little attacking options and some fans are singling out the one main attacking influence!

All we need to do now is tie up his contract for next season!!
