  1. To miss out on a playoff spot by GD is is a sore one (and it had to be by fucking 10 pts didn't it) and I'd be laughing if it was us that squeezed in too. But we were written off at the start, expected to be relegated with the budget we had and a new fan-owned model in place. 6pts behind first place, the second best games lost ratio, debt free and a solid foundation of a 1st 11 team in place for next season and finally rid of shite patter from Dundee fans. Not a bad consolation prize. Bring on GTF Day. Thank you.
  2. When I was up for the game in August, I was recommended McLeod's. Wee bit out the way from the centre but was en route to my digs. Thought it was a decent fish supper, not bad price. Fish supper, pickled onions, brown sauce, can of the Bru. Only way to go. Score draw, Arbroath to win and Partick to lose 3-0 would be just lovely. Torn between that greetin' faced bellend Coyle's mob getting stuffed or Bowyer's rank outfit getting the same. A goal each disallowed just to see them both explode with rage.
  3. Not for me. Skited too many chances and that penalty was woeful. He ran and got stuck in enough but hasn't lived up to expectations so far. Muirhead was running all over and tracked back alot but Grimshaw was takes it for me. Gillespie played well from his return from injury but not quite there yet.
  4. Howler from Schwake. Ali Crawford can get in the sea, should never have taken that penalty. That being said, Gaston saved both that and the rebound well. We had the chances but simply didn't take them. McGrattan has to start over Ali Crawford next. Grimshaw and Gillespie were solid and Muirhead ran his socks off. We'll be lucky to make the playoffs but, we've done well to be up where we are considering where we were at the start of the season.
  5. Gaston keeping them in it, got a little bit scrappy towards the end of the half but we deserve to be in the lead. Need an early goal to settle the nerves. Pitch is rotten.
  6. It looked pretty healthy but didn't expect it to be quite that high, to be honest. Nice addition to the coffers, hopefully we use it wisely and push for the top end. Top four has to be the main aim.
  7. What was the actual attendance? Had a look (albeit only via Fotmob and BBC Sport) and not seen it noted
  8. Would like to have seen McGrattan start but otherwise the most sensible lineup
  9. Actual play aside..... Decent coverage and commentary is unbiased too (granted I missed 20 mins)
  10. Depends which side if the arse you sit on, but from a neutral stance I'd probably go to the Hole in the Wa'.
  11. The impression I got from Gordon is that we are definitely in the market for at least another. He was careful with his words but he was upbeat and emphasised that we have the means to avoid bargain basement type players. It just depends on who is available at this late stage.
  12. Spoke to Gordon Ritchie outside the ground, said that we definitely were in for an international player, not foreign per sé but an international. ( I asked who but he couldn't say) Said the money came In two weeks too late but that we are in for another player, but the pickings are slim. Plus side is that due to the money that's come in, we can aim for a decent standard.
  13. Great result. Quitongo was great, as was King and Gillespie. Quitongo edged MoTM for me. Special mention the ref for being probably the worst i've ever seen. Handed out yellows like sweets.
  14. In the club currently and sorted the bus up/down. Good recommendation pal, nice wee club and a decent pint. Surprised how good the weather is too. Enough niceties, intae em Morton...
  15. Cheers VT. Gonna have a nice wee crawl Fri/Sat by the looks of it. If any are showing the game Fri too, even better.
