I heard this morning that Liam Brown might be heading out in loan to Alloa. That surprises me if it's true as I thought he would be next in the pecking order if Thompson or Mal are missing, but it came from a someone who would be in the know.

Coyle obviously has Bannon and Jarrett ahead of him right now and by all accounts David Boeteng can play there as well.  If he's out the picture at the moment then a loan spell will do him good. Still got another year on his contract after this season and I know Beuker rates him highly.

It’s absolutely mental how all our loanees from last season have somehow ended up playing at a level(s) above the one they were utterly woeful in

Swindon even paid a fee for Ronan Darcy

I actually thought he was one of the better loanees when he played. Connell as well obviously.  Both far from "utterly woeful"

The rest were pish right enough

  3. Looking forward to my first ever visit to Dens (just a couple of grounds to tick off the list now)

A few weeks ago I'd have bitten your hand off for a point in this game and, despite three wins in a row, I'd still be happy with that tbh. I'm certainly more confident of getting something as we've vastly improved from that League Cup game.

Don't see any reason to change the line up from the last two games. Maybe new loan signing David Boateng will come in for Davidson at right back, depends how match fit he is

Hope the game is on the Sunday, as its Scotland v Ireland at Hampden on the Saturday night.

I don't think any situation is ideal for those that want to go to both games. I've got a ticket for the Scotland game but I'll punt it if I have to. I have to admit, I'm wanting our game to be on the Saturday to make a weekend of it but I doubt it will be now so a Friday night game would be  a decent option for attending both games. Then at least you could have an overnighter in Belfast before heading back the next morning.

Not so sure about that. Whilst the report was written from a Cove perspective it wasn't highly inaccurate. We made it much harder than it needed to be and I was relieved that we managed to win the match.

When you're only one goal ahead when it should have been more then you're always relieved to get the three points. However we clearly deserved to win and created better chances than Cove. Gourlay (who was pretty impressive) had far more to do than Ferrie. Especially second half when he made two great saves, first to stop Thomson one on one (that was a lovely move by the way) then a finger tip save from Kenny's low shot.

Narrow wins every week will probably end up killing me but hey ho, it'll be some way to go.

Still hope he does very well at Clyde in fairness

Nah, he's dead to me now....

All joking aside, I still love the the big handsome b*****d. Thought he was class in League 2 and an absolute rock in last season's play offs. Unfortunately in between that he was crocked and probably fortunate to get offered a one year contract but it was the decent thing to do. Quite surprised at his comments given those circumstances. He's been around long enough in the professional game to know the script. He's probably also benefited in the past from team mates being released.

Think I might of been one of the few that rated Donnelly during his time at qp, albeit that was in league 1

He is an incredibly awkward footballer in fairness. Massive guy who couldn’t header anything but was actually fairly handy on the ball

Here's a Luke Donnelly masterclass. Scoring with a header(😉) and a sublime side foot volley

Willie Collum's in the bad books with one of the arse cheeks of Scottish football and is now relegated to taking charge of our game this weekend 🙄

Yet on the occasions I remember him reffing our games against each of the arse cheeks, we narrowly lost both matches after he harshly sent off one of our players in each game. Funny how they never mention the games in which they benefit from his incompetence, eh?

... and to the 'supporter' behind me who called Williamson a clown during the Thistle game I'd suggest he might want to revise his opinion emoji849.png

I don't get why anyone would say that. There is nothing but positives to say about his contribution so far, especially considering the level we signed him from.

Time for Eze to step up now

And step up he most certainly did. I was a bit concerned when I heard the news on the way up but the biggest compliment I can pay him (and Kilday) is we didn't really miss Fox that much. But then again, the whole team played so well and we were on the front foot for most of the game.

The last two weeks have been great to see. I feared for the team's confidence after that Ayr second half but it's been some reaction from them. The football we are playing is also a joy to watch at times. Coyle and Stewart are really getting a tune out these lads.

Better hope the good run doesn't continue - Its hard to imagine Lesser Hampden being suitable for premiership football in 11 month's time.!!

It's not even suitable for Championship football imo. We might just get away with it in this division when the capacity goes to 1,500 but I think that no supporter at this level should be locked out from seeing their team, home or away. Going initially with the one stand (and with the games not even being streamed) means that some weeks some away fans are going to miss out. Maybe even home fans if our local support starts to grow. That's shite imo
