  1. Aye you clearly know better than the thousands of witnesses and legal proffesionals and jurors who sat through two years worth of evidence
  2. That was it in a nutshell. Side pens were half empty while two central pens were fatally overcrowded
  3. Very big Dundee fan by looks of him Big peh fan as well id say
  4. Think him and his wife had about six kids and moved to Australia when he retired. Probably emptied him all that hence this
  5. Duckenfield was appointed match commander less than 3 weeks before the tie despite never having been in charge of a major football match at Hillsborough or any other ground hence all the cataclysmic errors he made such as not filtering fans en route and closing the gate to the tunnel etc The man who would have taken charge that day, Brian Mole had vast experience of football crowds and that ground in particular, he had been moved from his position and transferred to another area after officers under his charge had played a sick prank on a new recruit, placing a bag over his head and holding a gun to him in some sort of weird joke. Incredible, and tragic to think that that bizzare set of circumstances led, in part to a whole chain of events with such a horrific outcome
  6. He made a career of being a proffesional footballer, winning plenty medals, international caps and a good few quid into the bargain. Im sure such a scathing put down from a bam who throws excrement at people for bants and is the subject of ridicule daily on a football forum will cut him to the bone
  7. I actually got the turnstile/supporter ratio wrong earlier. 10 turnstiles for the 10,500 standing on LL terrace and 23 turnstiles for the entire Liverpool support of 24,500. Yet people on here still banging on about fans causing the initial crush at the turnstiles
  8. Well you clearly do think you know better since you are stating that, unlike the inquiry findings the supporters were to blame And your point about it starting with Liverpool fans crushing outside the ground, I have detailed the 2 main reasons for that i.e the roadworks & the inadequate amount of turnstiles (seem to recall a figure of 24 turnstiles for 13,500 peoples) neither of which is attributable to those inside or outside the stadium. Unless you are stupid it isnt difficult to understand
  9. A combination of inadequate number of turnstiles and motorway roadworks causing late arrivals of some. Several coaches were delayed that day due to roadwarks on what was referred to as 'Snake Pass' the main stretch of road between merseyside and south yorkshire and the archaic turnstiles, examined by experts were too old and not enough in number to efficiently stream the vast amounts of people going into that end of the stadium. The number of people in the Leppings Lane end of the stadium tallied correctly with its capacity, problem was far too many were crammed in to pens 3 & 4, due to Police and SWFC NOT closing the gate at the tunnel leading to those pens. The people heading down said tunnel which caused the subsequent crush didnt know till they were in the, by now dangerously overcrowded section of terrace that this section was absolutely rammed. These were all facts stated and investigated by experts but clearly you know better
  10. Fergus/Jimmy hadnt seen it either till Dil took her dress off to be fair
  11. To be fair he was still up against it, the others were pretty tied up and he was having to play a series of worldies to try and bring them into pottable positions, an in off like that was always a danger but he had to take the risks
  12. The Crying Game Seen it many many moons ago but just caught it again while channel hopping and sat through it, very clever plotline if a wee bit cliched Cant believe first time round I didnt see the 'twist' coming, watching it second time round its pretty obvious
  13. Ta ta Ronnie ETA O'Sullivan, not Deila* *For now
  14. You clearly didnt read my post properly or are just a bit thick. In fact most likely a combination of both
  15. Maybe making wisecracks about peadophilia & using it for one upmanship like you is the way to go then?
  16. Well we've had a thread on every other form of cooking eggs Anyhows I will crack 4 or maybe 5 eggs with a small dash of milk, a wee crack of salt and pepper, a few sliced mushrooms already fried, grate a bit of orkney cheddar into the mix, a spoonfull sweetcorn and either some cooked chicken pieces or some smoked ham (never both), after cooking for a few minutes in the pan or a wok, I grate a bit more cheese on to the top and place under grill for 2 to 3 minutes Served with a slice of crusty bread and viola What are your omelette routines or experiences?
  17. The c**t is going to frame Arnott for it all and walk away grinning again
  18. Got thinking earlier about my schooldays and, if anyone here also went to St Modans in Stirling they may recall the creepy alki Modern Studies teacher from the 80's and 90's Mr Cusack? Dirty old fucker used to constantly 'drop' his pen right next to various lassies desks so he have to bend down in front of them to pick it up, clearly to have a gaze up their skirts in the process, loads of folk noticed it, incredible that no questions were asked of his suitability as a teacher
  19. We all got the afternoon off as some pupils and staff had witnessed it. I hadnt but still got home early so it wasnt all bad
