Yeah. I wouldn't mind so much if the club wasn't trying to work up some pish about us tilting for the title. Looking like fodder for 6th to 10th I think.
Anyone who thought we could go for the title is completely off their nut.
I’d be delighted with 6th, Thistle are more likely to recreate what we did last year.

Given the turmoil with Postecoglou just in, a shakeup in their departments and such, I’d take any Celtic loanee rumour with a huge grain of salt. I suspect Ange will want to see a lot of the players himself before he starts shooting them out all over the place. That might be a nasty surprise building if that’s the plan…plus a wide player is much less necessary than a mid and/or a bigger forward.
Was set up prior to the new manager coming in, guy can play left back or left wing apparently.

Bloody hope not!
If that's something she feels we should be ecstatic about then we are doomed! Doomed I tell ye!
Think it’s a dude from Celtic, wide player

Have been watching Rovers for over 30 years and pre-season games have never meant anything. There is pretty much no correlation between how you do in them and the season you’re going to have. At least wait until the first few competitive games before the usual ‘we’re doomed’ patter gets rolled out.
Spot on, if I remember properly in 92/3 we scored 1 goal preseason, 1st league game banged in 7

Love my fellow fans, only here could replacing Davo with Berra be seen as a negative

Is Billy Thomson part of the coaching staff now, thought I caught him on the live feed

I hope he has a fucking great career.
Agreed, we should be showcasing his improvement to all the Celtic/Rangers U20’s who won’t get a sniff of first team football.

When he first came we were raving about him, fast and direct, scoring nearly every game. Tranmere fans said that's how he starts every time he signs for a new team, only to flop later.
PS - I should have added, they were spot on.
Tumilty summed it up on the 80th minute of a game, when he played the ball down the line for Duku
“you still playing Manny?”

Regans out of contract but under 24 so i think a fee would be due.
Not contesting that a move to St Mirren would be a step up and would likely earn him a bit more money, but I'd be pretty disappointed if that's where he went.
Stepping stone IMO.
His move has to be about game time at the next level

I’m still holding out some slim hope for Innes Cameron. I know he’s under contract for next season and I have no idea what role Killie see him playing. However, if he’s only a back up option for them, a swap deal with Kieran MacDonald might work for both sides.
He signed a new deal with Killie last week.

Euan Murray sights for Killie. Both liked by Macdonald and Armstrong on Twitter.
Bet Lewis Vaughan likes it too, Killie Skelper

If we can replace Armstrong with a corner taker who has 50% success rate of finding a team mate we’ve won a watch

Based on the comments above, I’m probably in the minority here but I don’t think losing Kieran Macdonald is as big a loss as some are making out.
I thought he had a fantastic first season in league 1. Last season, in my opinion anyway he was steady, but certainly not a stand out. I think John Mcglynn will be able to replace him with similar, if not better.
Very attacking left back which always leaves holes in behind, as exploited by Adam and McGhee for the 1st Dundee goal.
McGlynn will have prepared for him not resigning, any Celtic U21 left back’s being released ?

From memory we didn’t manage to win any games at Rugby Park when we beat them to the league in 92/93.
Was only 2 points for a win then, so draws weren’t as damaging

It's May. We don't have a squad yet. Get a grip.
Grip purchased, irrespective of squad we are shite in Ayrshire and have been for a generation.
im sure you can’t even remember a good points haul from Ayrshire

I think Beastie Russell was insinuating we'll need to beat Kilmarnock twice at Rugby Park to win the title...

Turner would be a great signing.
Macdonald if he stays pt won’t be at Raith, but is leaving the family business such a big risk

Imagine losing 3 times to us in the 96-97 season.
Remember a 40 yard Danny Lennon skittery free kick winning one of the games

On reflection it's probably been the loss of two goals (nearly three and a defeat) at home against Arbroath that's cost us second place over the last month or so.
3 points from 9 v Ayr was the issue
