Suspect the squad is probably as divided on it as the fans are. Those who see no problem with it are probably quietly seething we don’t have him playing to help the cause. Those who hated the idea of him at the club are probably seething about the decision and impact it’s had. All probably feel it’s been a huge distraction and has dented the relationship with fans as you say. I’d be astonished if it wasn’t playing at least some part in our recent shite league performances.
And then there are those that are pissed off that they aren’t on anywhere near the reputed wage he was on/is on/was offered

Congratulations to McGlynn, getting 3 teams to cup finals and not leading them out.

A full obituary for Connor is now up on the website. I didn't realise that he actually signed McGlynn for Berwick while he was manager there.
Just to prove he was human, He also signed Romaines twice

Sad news about Frank
He did so much for our club;
Signing Dalziel and getting him to fall back in love with football
Promotion in his 1st year
Making Souness’s Rangers team play pass back for 10 minutes to see out a cup tie
made it popular to be a Raith fan after the great arse collapse of 80/81
Thanks for all you did

Happy Ryan Stevenson day

We’ll this has turned into a borefest..
Folk asking questions that nobody knows the answer to, so answers get made up in the vacuum, and taken as truth.
Rovers now destined for the lowland league.
Major f**k up, change will happen, but it needs to be managed through a proper process.

Times up for the manager, this is purely a football opinion

I think the idea of a "fit and proper person" test for every single signed player in Scottish football is one of these things that comes from a good place and sounds sensible on paper, but is totally unworkable. I can't see how it can be implemented in any sort of practical way.
Spot on
The definition of what would be acceptable or not would cause issues.
At a higher level would Marcos Alonso be allowed to play ?

Tickets bought for Sunday.
Still unhappy and embarrassed with the stewardship of the club, which isn’t a first for me, still unhappy and embarrassed with the management team on the football side based on form and recent signing.

There must be an opportunity for shareholders to call for an EGM or submit a vote of no confidence in the board ?

McGlynn should go, I wouldn’t renew his contract, and relieve him of all duties ahead of the summer, allowing a new manager time to come in(where’s Laurie Ellis ?).
Paul Smith also should be relieved of his duties along with Karen McCartney - however making a female CEO leave before directors however right that decision is, I feel wouldn’t look good.
Sim won’t go, Sinton is Sims man, so the other two are more likely to go.
TM is only in place as he invested a fair whack after a lottery win, and resigning might be easier for him, as he will have a hard gig as commercial director

Like every other set of supporters we backed the club through the pandemic, buying season tickets for games we’d never attend.
and when we ask the club to do something for us and not sign this guy, they go f**k you, we know best.
Enjoy your medicine

I just cancelled my monthly contribution to the player development fund and emailed the fund as to why. Im not contributing to signings like this. Will review next season. Hopefully others do likewise. I am truly astounded we have made this signing and taking on the fall out and baggage that will no doubt follow.
Lucky you, my standing order has already been processed for midnight tonight, last one they will get though.

The shirt pulling was six of one and half dozen of the other, they were both at it but fair play to the Lithgow for staying on his feet, he could've went down looking for a penalty and most likely got one
Would need some force to pull him to the ground, evidence that hoops aren’t for the larger person

Watched the match back this morning, and I appear to be doing a one man bouncy just before Gullan takes the penalty.
wish we hadn’t let Gozie leave

The dock on the other side of the road from Cappielow is ideal, I've parked there foryears and gets you away pronto onto the A8/M8 to head home.
That where I used to park, but didn’t know if it had been developed

Any tips on parking for the game, haven’t been at Capielow for at least 10 years

I don’t think we’ll have a new striker in for the weekend, I hope I am wrong however.
Playing ICT on this current run of form probably isn’t ideal, but as long as we don’t get beat - then it’s a successful result I reckon.
Starting XI I’d opt for:
. MacDonald
RT Lang. Berra Mosunda
Matthews Williamson Stanton
Connelly Ross
. Mitchell
(Dick does provide a slightly better balance to the team, but Frankie is just a better player stops more crosses coming in and there’s a calmness as well, with Dick it’s always a fraction away from “aw naw”)
(Mitchell won’t start but from what I’ve seen he has a much better eye for goal than either Varian and Matej, and he’s rapid, so could easily drop short and get a run on players going in behind)Based on form, the right back should be dropped before the left back.
Can we just give Inverness the 1-0 win, save on the time, travel and fuel ?

We really need someone with greater ability and awareness than Varian or Poppy, whos also blessed with a turn of speed
Not asking for much I know
There was a proven centre forward sitting on the opposition bench and getting zero game time yesterday.

Looks a bit of a tit to be honest, perhaps all the social media likes he got when he did it against Killie went to his head ?
